This commercial represents the cars built yesturday, the previous automobiles built four and a half decades ago. Automobiles built now are known as cars no respect. The only chrome found one these newer automobiles are = rims; sad but true. I enjoy driving my 72 monte carlo because it looks like no other fine automobile found at any intersection, I could say the same for yesturday's chysler's. You really have to drive it!
Great commercial, playing on Y2K and beyond- unfortunately just six years later everything went to hell with the truly craptastic Sebring and Caliber. Even with Fiat runnign things they probably won't make it until new product is ready in 2-3 years.
I'm also interested in knowing more about the music used in this ad. I think they had some of the best car ad campaigns at the time. The quick cuts from the old Chrysler days is great and the music works perfectly here.
I remember this commercial from a better time in Chrysler's history. Too bad Daimler had to chew it up and spit it out as a near-defunct company. They had some great looking fars until about 2003. Now it will be amazing if Chrysler exists past 2010.
I love this ad. It's funny how the early 60's promotional film narrators comments still fit well today. It doesn't seem like things have changed but then, look at the cars.

please forgive me oh clever one! i apologise. by demonstrating that you can succesfully use a dictionary, you have proven to me that you do indeed possess the mental ability of a nine year old. well done, your gold star is in the mail.

By calling someone you do not even know a moron because of a harmless comment you yourself end up looking more the part. This is my perspective and is all I will add considering that your pointless attack is not even worth my time, or attention!
I don't like the PT Cruisers anymore. There are too many of them out there.
But, great commercial. Chrysler had a wide selection of great cars in the early 2000s

chrysler is getting paid back when Daimler did the same to they that they did to AMC. I still hope they survive though.

does anyone know the name of the song that is playing in the backround of this commercial?

denas2122, it's probably just a song made for the commercial. I wish it were real though, such a tranquil song goes great with the commercial.
