the traxxas bandit 12t is extremel durable my e rvo and the bandit hit head on at top speed and they both drove away from it after the run i looked at them both and no damage m e revo is mod brushless tops out at around 60mph and m bandit tops at about 15-20mph thats a 75-80mph collision and no damage beat that durability

ive just bought a baja b5 v2.0 in silver. cost me £839.00 i can c what you are saying about the cost of them.. they are a bit. BUT at the end of the day i think you get what you pay for and this thing kicks ass. the best £839.00 i have ever spent seriousley..

these are a different kind of fun. those are for in your front yard and down the street kind of cars. these you take to the dunes desert or anything. and these are way more durable

no they arent ino the jato is for on road but it can be modded the rustler and other things similar are very durable they can handle almost as much as a baja and if u made it aluminium it would be just as durable

I wonder what they do to stop the sand from entering the gearbox...

the gearbox is sealed and held in place by pins like the ones used to hold the body in place, the geearbox casing is also rimmed with rubber seal to stop any sand/dirt from getting in, the gearbox also has no oil so sand getting in rlly isnt a problem :)

but probably wear and friction? I mean, in car Gearboxes the oil is there to reduce wear and friction.

well people if you wanna buy one it costs 1000euro and the remot control obout 500 600 benzin another 10 euro and batterys for remot control 10 evro the benzin is for 5 hours well for a day benzin costs obout 50 euro and all of this obout 2000 euro :D
