  • woow this horse rocks :D

  • Lovely !!! Upload a new video - since it's been so long, would love to see how you two are now :)

  • Great! Keep up the good work!!! Greetings from Germany!

  • you two are such big POSERS!!!

  • Hi!! Love your pony, I have a Haflinger too, that shows Dressage. What level are you showing or training? Great job!:)

  • How tall are you in this video? Do you still ride this pony in the video?

  • @crazychicksch Hiya, Im 19 now, and im 5ft2. I guess back them when i was 15 i would have been about 5ft :) I have just started him again (last month or two). As he took a break and did a bit of pony club and a little bit of low level dressage. But now am riding him again. We have clicked immediately, I have tidied him up to my expectation (he was pretty rusty!!!!) and we are now he is fit, engergetic and very willing and happy. We are now ready to affiliate him and do some medium level tests!

  • Hi there! Greetings from Germany!

  • you are an awesome rider wish i could ride like that!!! i like dressage too but i am no were near as good as you wow!!!!!!!!

  • mooi

  • you ought to enter my draft draft x contest

  • BEAUTIFUL HAFLINGER!

  • your and your pony looks really nice!

i have a haflinger too she is great. I have a vid but i cant upload it its not working.

  • @Dressage4eva1 A thankyou very much! :)

  • I'm not trying to be mean you are a wounderful rider relax ur hands and u will look georgus 5starz

  • @TickleMeElmo1995 thanks, this is quite an old video now. Iv improved muchly since it was taken. i was only 15. :)

  • thank you for your answer. i´m realy sorry when my english is not so good. I´m coming from germany, so normally i don´t write letters in english

  • Nice video, you are a really good rider

I´ve two questions: How long do you the ridingsport and how old are you?

  • Thankyou!

I have been riding 11 years now and i am now 18 - in this video i was 15yrs old.

  • Very nice presentation. I agree with your comments about Haflingers being strong, they can also be a bit strong-willed! I have been riding for 45 years - don't want to give my age away! and have owned and trained a lot of horses in that time. I have a 13 year old Haflinger and I find him quite strong, but they are so loyal and intelligent you can bond with them very closely and now he does what I ask before I've even asked it! They are a truly amazing breed, so versatile. I'm hooked!

  • Thankyou for your comment :) Lovely to hear about your haffie. Im hooked on the breed too!

  • OMG! You and your horses look amazing together.Size wise you guys compliment each other. I noticed that your hands were pretty still to the point that i could focus on your horse. Can't say the same for some of the other videos i have watched. The Haflinger stallion,AVANTI, at liberty posted by rkolex, the riders hands seemed just completely out there that i couldn't even focus on the horse! All i saw was the hands moving. it was quite annoying. Still you and your horse are a great combination.

  • Thankyou so much! its lovely to get such a nice comment - recently iv been having very rude comments from riders (mainly from Germany) but thankyou so much - much appriciated. :D

  • Just wondering, how did you train your horse to do some of those moves. I own a morgan gelding who has had 5 months of hunt/dressage training (self trained) and i'm trying to get him to work on a better frame. i spend almost 3 months training him that rein pressure does not mean throw his head up ( b/c he was currently saddleseat). i do ride him in a low port pelum because he does get alittle strong and has run off with me a few times. I would really apreciate it. thanx!

  • Aw, your pony is so cute. And you're such a good rider! :D

  • actually that first photo his mouth is not being 'teared open' .

    what are you thinking?

hmm yeah loose reins - really looks like im tugging at him doesnt it. No. The position of his head is there of his own will thankyou very much

  • this is shittin song ever

  • Lovely pony, Well ridden!

Can I ask why you ride in a double bridle?

Not meaning this in a negative way, but they can be very harsh and generally used in Medium level +. Just wondering if an instructor recomended, what he was ridden in when you bough him, you decided?

Anyway, keep up the good work! :D

  • Hey thanks for the comment =] i use a double bridle because he is strong! i can't hold him very well in a snaffle and i struggle to stop him - he likes to work just a bit! but i preferr a double as i don't have to pull or tug on his mouth to slow or for dowwards transitions =]

  • Echt schlimm!

  • i like haflingers coz i luv palomino horzez and haflingers are palomino even though alot of people say dat their colour is really chestnut ranging from shades of gold to rust. weird, right? dw hun bout da music x its great that we all know that u luv haflingers x some of us du x r u creating any other vids? coz im thinking of suscribing

  • Thankyou for the comment! i love haflingers!:)

Yes i tend to add videos regually.

    thankyou.x

  • LOL, where did my comments go? Did you delete them because you couldn't/can't deal with criticism?? I guess that says everything about how sure YOU are about what you do. Weird. When people criticise me I never feel the need to hide it from the world. Maybe it's because I am sure about myself. Well, good luck growing up and getting over that.

  • I deleted them coz you were making my page a mess! I dont 'hide' away from the bloody world, im still uploading video, so i AM confident and positive what i do... i still accpet my ponies in and work. I havent gone and let myself down from some petty comments from a jealous nobody like YOU! now now, run along and find others to annoying

  • hey, long time no see. how do comments make a page messy? whatever. and yep. i'm jealous, that's probably it. i actually alwas though that i'm pretty happy with my gorgeous litte girl even though she is only a halinger without a pedigree.

  • oh and i would like to add your a great rider :), i loved the shoulder in, my horse can do it to, but i can only make him do it for like 5 strides, im working on it :)

check out my profile to see him jumping a round of 120cm, with my sister riding him, i only do 110cm on him but ive only been riding him a year

  • ever since i was little ive always wanted a haflinger, i love there colour and shape, but still i do not have one :( instead i have an andalusian cross holstiener, and now holsteiners are my fav breed, as well as haflingers and arabian, i also have an arabian, now all i need is a haflinger :),

i will have one before my life is over :)

  • Nicht schlecht! ;)

    lg

  • i <3333 hafies!!! im 5'0 would i be to big for one?

  • lol of course not. Full grown men ride them. : )

  • =0 ahahha k!:D yay lol...i just didnt wanna crush the little thing lol! 2 cute to crush ;P thankies:D

  • i have a haffie tooo and i think hes amazing he is also a gun at dressage but with a but of an attitide lol nice riding how big is your haffie???

  • He is 14.3hh

    :]

  • Good job! i like this video your a good rider!:) i have a haffy also but we dont do dressage...LOL

  • you are such a great rider and just ignore eveyone who disses you and your horse cause they are just jealous :) gorgerous pony too!

  • superleuk beestje hoor ;D

  • He/She is SO very cute! I love Haffys! Your Riding IS GREAT!!!!!!

  • Can you leave my riding alone please. Even if i do not talk your language i still get translated on the bloody net.

If you have nothing nice to say then don't say it at all - your wasting my time.

  • NIce ride, nice horse, nice movement. , I really like the side passes!

  • This horse is not stress at all.. he swishes his tail all the time: jumping, hacking, grazing.

  • omg you are an amazing rider have just bought a 5 yr old haffy mare im hoping to compete in dressage ,,shes very quick to learn but can be stubbon,,,any tips???

  • I am getting a Halfinger in a few years! What is a Halfilingers blood temperature?

Oh and by the way... You are a very good rider and lucky to have such a fabulous pony!

  • Oh ya and I forgot to mention, if your looking for a big Haffie focus on finding heavy European Bloodlines, they were cross bred with Belgians in the 1950's.

  • bizzylizzyizzy, you can get a registered Haffie thats up to 15.3H, you just have to meet the breeding requirements. I'm 5'10" 140lbs. and my Haffie is max height and almost 1300lbs. He's the perfect size!

  • British Reg. haflinger do not exceed 15.2hh

haflingers are being breed larger in other countries still - espescilly Austria!

  • Your pony is so cute! How tall are you & how tall is your haffie? I love haffies but I'm 5'7" and I'm afriad I'd look silly on a haffie!

  • im 5ft2 and this haffie is 14.3hh

  • how old is your horse and do you only do dressage??

  • He is 18 this year. he was 15 in this video.

No i dont just do dressage. i try and do a bit of everything to keep the ponies happy =]

    x

  • You have got a awesome horse !!!

We have one haflinger in the club, her name is Maya but she is realy grazy !!! :)

  • how old are you? how long do you ride? you´r very very very very ... good

  • ahhhhhhhhhh your pony is so so so gorgeous! :O i love haflingers, myy faavvess!:D yours is especially a beaaut!

    i want it :L

but anyway! amazing riding :D xx

  • i want ur pony

  • mind your heels, and dont ride like youve got the brakes on all the time

  • i like the way you understand the note i left in the information bit saying 'Please Do Not Leave Any Nasty Or Instructing comments. Thanks!!!'

i do not ride heavy handed, i have contact with the horse to maintain control - he is however very soft. Please do not leave comment that you dont know about thanks

  • IMO these comments'll only help ya, but anyhow. Nice ridden and I love your haf.

  • You are an amazing rider and you both make a brilliant team! I wish I had a horse like yours! How long have you been riding and had this horse? She looks like she really adores you! Keep up the amazing riding! x

  • Thankyou Very Much =] !! Iv been riding for about 10 years and 5year riding this pony =]

    x

  • i love haflingers! they are the story of my life! wherever life takes me, im gunna have a trusty haflinger at my side!!! i wish my cute little pony would never get to easy for me...

  • same thing happened to me with music on a vid :P

  • I havent watched this video in a long time. its scary to watch back a year and a half ago. at this point in time i had only just learnt half pass :O and now i can do it with ease! and my stirrup length! Lol. I think in all my videos From this one to my recent one has been huge improvement. and you can see myself and my horses all growning in strength and knowlegde.

Thankyou to everyone who watches my videos and subscribes. It means ALOT to me. =]

  • love videos like this just goes to show u dont have to have a warmblood to do great dressage infact the more baroque style ponies are better at the collection i have a dales who compeats at elementary level at the mo (sorry for any sp mistakes)

  • Ignore the ignorant haters. You and your pony look fabulous. I love this video.

  • omg!

  • He is 17!!!!!

    But Fit as Ever :D

  • good job-

i have a 5 yro haflinger and she isnt near this good :P

  • Woah you look well good!

your pony is soo cute aswell

    x

  • I have a haflinger also. She is 4 years old and we are just learning the basics. You and your pony are really good and an inspiration to others with haffies. Don't pay any attention to that negative comment. I saw her video and it wasn't that good. Haflingers Rule!

  • I have a haflingers too. and ride dressage.. Wow. You r amazing! You are a great rider! What level are you competing at?(U.S)

  • 4th level in US (i think) and Medium in the UK

  • WOW!!!!!!

Can I borrow Donnie please???????? My dressage haflinger got hurt!He got kicked in the stifle. The vet is taking X-Rays on Monday...... I think he got a tendon. I know that you will never leave him. I have horse like that I would never sell!

  • youre a great rider...i ve a Haflinger too and hes amazing too.

you have a very sweet and beautiful haflinger!

    AND A VERY GOOD RIDING

  • You have to activate his backhand... becaus he walks like a cow. So i don't think you are a good rider... You have to learn a lot!!!!

  • EXCUSE ME!

Do NOT be rude on my video and DO NOT leave stupid instructing comments like that.

And if you say he walks like a cow you have LOTS to learn. As i dont even walk in this video!!

And if you knew about schooling, he is well engaged with his hind and has good impulsion.

    Please get over yourself.

  • haha .. your a fuckwit. I agree with haflingers10, her horse is very well engaged in his hindqaurters and is very off the forehand. This is due to him working from behind .. so even if he did walk at all in the video he wouldn't be walking like a 'cow'. Dumb bitch

  • i watched your video, and in order for your horse to work properly you need to put more weight into your heels so you can use your leg effectively, bend your elbows more, lift your wrists and keep your hands vertical and soft, instead of riding like your riding a motorbike. haflingers10 is a better rider than you, for fact. Do NOT diss her.

  • right danni, do you want to train teddy for me? ill ship him to yours!!!

    yaz

    xxxx

  • can he also jump?

    beautiful haflinger

    love them

p.s you are a very good rider

  • Yes he can jump very well. - He enoys his jumping =]. !

    and thank you!!

    PS - your the 100th comment - Congrates!! =]

  • how odl ru?

    j/w cause ur really good

  • Im 16 and thankyou!

  • Gawjus Pony !! .. ♥ Well Done Amazing Riding !! Love Et !!

  • omg hes so cute! my warmblood isnt doin that stuff yet!! how old is ur pony?

  • He is 17 now :]

Still fit as ever, well fitter!

  • aww he looks a lot younger! my horse is like 7 so hes young. did u train him?

  • No i didnt train him, somebody else did. =]

  • lol good luck competing him tho!

  • wow u r a gr8 rider ....

    is tht a kimblewick ??

  • thankyou.

    its a double bridle :)

  • Thank You Everyone For Your Kind Comments!!

    MUCH Appriecate =]

** Watch Out For New Videos =] **

  • wiikid viddy :)

  • I think it's wonderful to see young people doing flat work and dressage. It so important for horse and rider. He is darling! And you ride lovely.

  • i know some people with haflingers i prefer welshies lol :D:D:D

  • is it a haflinger thing were they swish there tails more than most horses, cause if u look at my videos of my horse skye, hers does the same as your pony lol x

  • gorgous haflinger ")

mine is called skye lol x

  • Was?

  • super!! :)

  • My next horse will be a Haflinger. I think yours is adorbale and you ride him very well.

  • good seat lovely pony! well done .

  • damn, youre good. how old are you?

  • Hehe Thank You... Im 16 Now... But Was A Young 15 In The Video =]

  • wow. thanks for posting this vid...i've just bought a 2 1/2 yr old 14.3 haflinger gelding and have used this vid to shut up the people who're saying he'll be good for nothing!

  • WHAT!???????

  • Hey =)

    Lovely pony..

What level do you compete at..?

So if you are in the U21s Squad..are you aiming for Pony Euros..? Like doing Premier Leagues..?

Youve got a really nice seat btw =)

    X

  • We Compete At Medium Now. When I Released This Video We Were Competing Elem... Nah Not Aming For Pony Euro. I Dont Know Much About It. But Yes. We Are Doing The PonyFEI Test At PL's This Year Woo!

  • lovely pony, nice to see he's not overbent like most dressage horses1

    well done :)

  • wow. your like 13 and are amazing. AMAZING. really really great homegirl. im veeryy impressed.

  • ur gr8! c u in the olympics!

  • at everyu picture and every moment in your movie, i see his tail whip, of protest.

I don't think he likes this riding.

And why are you riding with S&T halter?

  • he swishes he tail all the time. riding or not. in the field, stable, standing. always and nothing is wrong with him. And It Not In Protest. If He Didnt Like My Riding He would tell me instantly. im light with my hands and seat. also what is a S&T halter :S.... you mean double bridle?

  • I'm sorry, i'm not good at all with terms and horses in English :$ I meanty double bridle yes.

Well,i was wondering why you were using it, becouse in my opinion you have also other things you need to work on, before using a dubble bridle. But you do have a lovely pony! :)

  • I compete in a double bridle all the time and train in one quite alot too.. and really. i ride for U21's UK. so i think i know whatever im doing. and thanks

  • not joining the argument but u21's uk is something you pay to join so any one can join it and train

  • yeh but to get into the squad and selected for ireland/scotland? thats something u dont

  • thats fair enough i got selected to go there through byrds but we didnt go cos it was too expensive. how did you do there?

  • wow. U r a really good rider! See you in the olympics. :P

  • don't they have amazing trots?? love my halfies.. could sit it for days..

  • Looks nice, but this horse is in constant protest.

  • Aw thats SO cute!

I have a 14hh haflinger gelding named Manitou (show name: Monkey Shines)and we do dressage level 2. It's nice to know we arnet there are more lovely little dressage haflingers out there!

    You two look wonderful together!

  • aww, how tall is he

  • 14.3hh =]

  • we always argue over the whole rollkur debate but I think u have done a great job with this pony.. u dont see many haflingers do dressage! its great :) just keep him a tad more paralell in the leg yield x

  • such a pretty horsey!!!! ur a great rider!!

  • ur a great rider. i cant even do the sitting trot! (my horse has a very springy trot which makes it even harder) and u look great with that horse. he has great balance (then again im used to my busharab hehe)

  • hey you look soo good im almost there with the dressage just need to work on my shoulder in cus it apparently looks like a leg yeild soo work to do..lol but my horse is an arabian stallion......the videos i have dont do him justice..lol i lurrv haflingers

    xxxxx

  • Loved this video! Real harmony and good music!

  • looks AWESOME! Im training a 4 eyar old haflinger right now, and they are SO much fun to ride.

  • Poor horse :((

I can do same and much better -_-'

  • Why Poor Horse..!? And I Highly Doubt You Can Do Much Better On A Haflinger Pony!!!!!!!!

    GO AWAY ... JELOUS!

  • proove it!

  • Proove It?! Proove What?!

Just Outta Interest.... What You Chatting About Rollkur? We Not Doing It. He Not Beond The Vertical. Also.. His Leg Yeild Is Fine :) Its Where The Camera Is Which Makes It Look Like His Quarters Are Getting Left Behind And His Should Dropping Out..

    but Thanks Loads! :D:D
