Yupp...At some parts, the instruments are playing exactly, what he sings. At such parts you hear it in your head, if you know the text, or got it right in front of you. If you are really crazy, you do even hear the 2nd voice ;)

@bigben654321 It's a psycological [/dodgyspelling] thing. Basically, you expect the vocals to be there so your mind sings them in. Also, the instruments have the same tune as the vocal line, which can be mistaken for singing.

@bigben654321 the chorus has a guitar all the way in the back that is identical to chorus notes, meaning it sounds the same as matt singing, this is the stuff matt doesnt play live so ur not used to it. but they use it in studios to give it a bigger feeling. Muse use this on a lot of their songs since they're a 3 piece band
