I do agree with you, I likie thier initial concept and the 'Classic' series Cybermen (1966 - 89). I like the idea that they always change in every era, but I think the alternative - universe Cybermen look camp though (Metal Pants that move up and down as they move). Although, I like the idea that the Cybermen are bullet proof. But 'The Next Doctor' episode made them look really low (Making kids work for them and letting a slutty character take control of the entire race - stupid).

But if I break off the new series and the damadge it's causing to the Cybermen's contiuence and reputation, then yes I do agree with you. Me, I have a few favopurite Doctor Who monsters; The Daleks (Obviously),Cybermen, Wirnn (Giant insects that implant eggs into humans) and the Weeping Angels (From Serie 3's 'Blink').

That's the thing I like about Steven's writing, the monsters are childhood fears taken a step further (Such as 'Silence In the Library's Doctor speech, "Almost every species in the universe has an irrational fear of the dark, but there wrong, beacuse it's not irratianol; it's Vashta Nerada").

thats how terry nation used to write - by childhood fears- thats how he created the daleks , through the fear of the nazis and the war , and his stories were always the best back then , so steven moffat is definately on the right tracks for an ultimate doctor who writer

well i don't think we get it in canada, if we do then i can't find or it or i just don't watch it. we get top gear on BBC canada but thats on saturdays at midnight so techniclly sunday.

Yes you do get it in Canada. It's a CBC co-production.

That is one pretty huge rock you must live under...because if I remember the schedule for series three correctly, it was broadcast primetime on a Monday night. I remmeber, because I tried to get my Canadian friend into it. LOL

i don't live under a rock and we don't have cable we have satalite, wich goes down alot, so i can't really find it on satlite. we have alot of channels, i have to rite down the one BBC Canada and Fox and other channeles like that just to find the shows i like.

I'm not quite getting you...isn't the CBC a public broadcaster, thus you should be able to get it anywhere regardless of whether or not you have cable/satellite?
