  • p.s. he was married to a black gal for 25 years :)

  • @Scotlandtommy3 no, he was married to his back up singer for 6 years and have a child with her. They probable was messing around for more like 10years....

  • Tha hunneh badguh.

  • Complete bullshit? I doubt it. This is an entertaining interesting and insightful clip. People sure know how to complain about nothing. Fucking Critics. I'll complain about critics. They're to critical. be progressive. not regressive or aggressive. progressive is impressive.

  • Some people sure know how to ruin a good thing. This Movie looks sweet. fucking critics.

  • The movie is ahead of it's time...like Bob. Shot in 3 weeks, every actor asked 2 be in movie and was not paid. YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH! and America is the lowest form of existence...how he sinks beneath your wisdom like a stone.

  • Nice to hear Jerry Garcia playing Dylan's Senor near the end. - 8:11

  • I saw the movie in Austin. I was the only one there.

It is plain he wants to be an actor; I don't know what is keeping him from it except himself. He definitely has the potential. Or maybe I just want the potential to be there for him.

Acting, good acting, is a lot harder than it looks. Bad acting is easy. I see it everyday including in my own life.

Brando said it was easy but then Brando was wrong. He made it look simple, very simple, but it came to him naturally.

  • the guy with the sheep looks like barry gibb lol

  • That guy is Val Kilmer.

  • oh...bet he would totally rock some polyester though

  • Saw it @Art Museum in Motown when it first came out!! I really and still like it!!!

    Dylanhead from detroit(really Troy Mi)

  • yeh pretty much try to get on with things

  • does anyone who comments on youtube have a f#@king brain?

  • No, just you, Scarecrow aka omniotium.

But you had better be careful with comments like that... The Wonderful Wizard of Oz might take your newly found brain back.

Rain on the Scarecrow, blood on the plow.

  • It's complete bullshit. A laundry list of Bob's lifelong gripes. Of course, the female has to be Black. He has spent a lifetime objectifying Black women as well as complaining about his fame. Whatever.

  • I think it was an apocolyptic masterpiece. It's my other favourite that complains about his fame...even in his songs. (The inimitable, Van Morrison.) Dylan expects the price of fame. You sound like Holden Caufield, btw. Thanks for coming by this way.

  • @paddy2youse when did he objectify a black woman?

  • Great movie... It's very thought provoking

  • not really a good idea to see a movie just cause of the actors, and its an even worse idea to idolize the actors in the first place.

    :( it's sad.

  • Wondering...did you see the movie? I guess I can't see your point. You can usually gauge a movie's production value by the actors. For instance...Gregory Peck...I'd stand in line to see him in anything.

  • ..you don't see it cause you're part of it.

    you prove my point, sir.

i like to hear what bob's got to say every now and then, i do respect the man, but watching a few clips of this movie was enough for me, for now.... production value is mostly director and plotline in my humble opinion... what if gregory peck was doing the first teletubbies movie?

  • LOL. I was kiddin'. Just quoting Dylan about Gregory Peck from "Brownsville Girl." Give me this: The commercial for the new one with DeNiro and Pacino is accurate when they say--"That's all you need to know!" Peace!

  • hahaha, OH kay, peace dude.

  • @glimmerman108 this is a clever quote, not many people will get this, been listening to brownsville girl, eh? ;-)

  • @ingateman One of many favourites. Yep. : )

  • i have the sound track to this on a vinyl record

  • i still dont understand this movie! It had no rhythm and no rhyme to it at all. All these top actors and it still made no sense. Maybe I'm the only one...

  • How many times did you see it? I have seen it over 100 times. It has some priceless moments in it and some very REAL atmosphere. Maybe you have to understand Dylan, I don't know. Some of the offbeat humour is amazing. I have been a fan since 1975, so it was awesome for me. Thanks for watching.

  • I've seen it about 3 times over a five year period. M&A's release was limited but I saw it for the first time in theaters back in 2003. I was a teenager then so I blamed my distaste for the film on age, but I watched it again last year and still nothing jived for me.

I'm sure you're right, the film is for Dylan fans. I only saw it because I'm an Angela Bassett fan so maybe an appreciation for Dylan is needed for this film. I actually really did enjoy their scene together so thanks for posting!
