@ReignRed People who are unhappy with their own lives, don't like seeing others happy. I don't think they despise homosexuality as much as they hate seeing someone who struggles in society, yet is still happy.
I wish I could sue my school system for the many years of abuse I suffered. It helped to ruin my life!
