  • i had an 98 accord and i loved when i started it up

  • this is fraud because when the engine cut out the car was doing to didididi dididi.

when the keys ON it goes beep, beep, beep. lol Get it? you turn the key off. FAKE!!

  • the door is open dumass

  • @corollajvvti NOO MATE! when the ignition is on the dinger shuts up if ur door is open or not!

  • i unno man

  • Ive got a 95 honda accord. Guy before me got drunk, took it through 6 fields hit a steel wire. Just a little dinged up runs fine :]

  • mine as dinged up too

  • very reliable,i never liked honda until a got one and it proved me wrong i got a 92 cb7 with 305k on it and still pushing strong no leaks no oil spills or burns..hows that for not being reliable

  • ya seriously. my 93 civic, d15 has 301k and still kicks hard. no leaks, no smoke nothing

  • i just got a 91 honda accord lx the other day for 1500. only thing wrong with it is the fans are busted, both of them. but its like a 120 dollar fix. anyways its got 269,000 miles on it and it runs perfect other than the fans being busted. which im fixing tomorrow morning, both the motors for the fans went bad at the same time friday, i thought that was kinda strange honestly

  • A friend of mine had the same issue with his prelude. It was an intermittent fuel pump relay. Sometimes it would just shut off while going down the highway. I had a co-worker, also with this problem, but hers was a brand new Ridgeline under a year old. It left her stranded, now she's afraid to go anywhere with it!

  • really? then why do most go over 200K? mine outside is bout to hit 300K.

  • Think what you just said honda will never be reliable? haha that gave me a good smirk do some research bud

  • It ended up being the distributor. It now starts decently and runs great!

  • Dead Ignitor.

What I'm seeing and hearing is that your car starts up nicely and just shuts off.

If it was the main relay it won't start anymore. If it was able to start it will sputter and die.

I'm 90% sure it's your ignitor inside the distributor. When that piece warms up it starts to die.

  • you seem to know about cars maybe you could help me out with a problem. When iam driving the car jerks and when going at fast speed and slow speed also. I notice that my gas finishes up faster. What do you think might be the problem

  • did you ever have a overheating problem? my friend has a problem with his 1991 accord overheating.. we cant seem to figure it out
