I'm looking for a series of comics or magazines by Robin Spriggs entitled Capes & Cowls: The Wyrd City Chronicles. If you have any information or issues to sell, please send me a message.
Bogartboy: A search for Robin Spriggs led me to this atrocity, and I felt much the same as you. She's subjected Ray Bradbury and Salman Rushdie to similar treatment, and will no doubt (shudder) get around to Aickman, too.
Y'all should know that Mr. Bradbury sent me flowers with a lovely personal note, to show his appreciation for my review of his book that's not about wine. And Mr. Rushdie has made his gratitude clear in other ways. Sal-mmy and I are about to celebrate our 2 month anniversary
I clicked on this video because it's the only thing tagged on youtube tagged with "robert aickman". as you can appreciate, this has all been very distressing to me.
Got a couple of guys from work to check out your show, and both came back jawin' about this book. Turns out they've both read it, which kind of freaked me out. Guess I'll have to get my hands on a copy after all.
I'm finding it hard to believe you even read, especially books, and most especially books by Robin Spriggs. You strike me as far too loud and ditsy to appreciate the poetic and psychological sensibilities of his work. But whatever.
You should know that after getting my Bachelor degree in English at Tel Aviv U., I went on to Wellesley for my Master in Literature, and I wrote my thesis on Cosmic Gothicism. My PHD is from Cambridge in Social Anthropology with a focus on the literature of indigenous peoples. So, clearly, I have read a super lot of real real hard books.
Hey, who wants to be a part of our movie project? Visit the link above for details! Thanks.

Finally got around to reading this book. It's a lot weirder than the kind of stuff I'm used to reading, but I have to admit that I really enjoyed it.

And you're going to have to try a lot harder if you want to appear literate on the Internet.
Capitalization, punctuation, and spelling would be good places to start.

Any book that can start a good cat fight is definitely worth a look, even if it does sound way over my head. Is it sacrilegious?

You're not joking. This book can really screw with your head. I know of at least two people it messed up in a very serious way.
