niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!!!!! That's the only other thing I'm thinking of doing to my 05 R1. so far I have -1/+2 on Stealth sprockets, Power Commander III, K&n air filter, and Two Brother's slip-ons. I definitely noticed the difference in response after the installation on this vid. Much thanks!! :-)
yeah i wasnt sure on these things people are saying like 6hp gain and better throttle response.
is the hp gain an increase or is this just bull that people speak...great video...understood everything you said thanks for the tip on restriction air flow
Thanks and There is a gain in power but I have never had it dynoed to say on the gain for sure!! It could be that you get faster responce and you get to the power that is already there faster!! but they are worth it to me and there is also a nice sound to it after they are on for a while!!
the longer than stock vstacks should, help low end power a bit and dependent on the bike could add top end too.i put a set on gsxr 1000 with the factory pro balanced injectors and they made the whole rev range better and the exhaust note changed quite a bit,oh yeah run the iridium plugs too.
ughh i dunno if u'd know the answer to this but how does a turbo actually make a car/bike go faster? sum1 told me it uises the exhaust to put air into the engine but i thaught dat was a bit wako -.-
for startes they don't "force" more air into your intake. The are is designed to:
1. Allow smooth and even entry of air into the intake duct with the flow streams boundary layer adhering to the pipe walls.
2. Modify the dynamic tuning range of the intake tract by functioning as a small reverse megaphone which can extend the duration of pulses within the tract.
Most places sell them, and yes you can get them to fit.
If you'll read above, they allow smoother entry of air into your intake so it's more responsive while adding a bit of power and smoothing out the dyno line.

Listen carefully and you can hear the higher pitch in sound with the new stacks.

what do you think would happen if you just ran stacks with no airfilter? or just filter it with something thin?

the exhaust turns the turbine in the turbo which forces fresh air in to the engine

they force more air into your intake and you prob. can??? look on factory pro's web site!!
