Then it show you a bed full of the cure for roboenza, for all the robots, so I guess what capcom is applieing is wily turned good because he finally learned his lesson about not being able to achieve his goal hhe tried so hard to reach.

It also states that a robot cannot lie but I've seen it happen quite a few times. Your not wrong though either since the priorities/laws of the robots that you stated are obviously made to protect humans first above all else. A Maverick is created if a reploid (or robot) acts independently from those sets of laws.

I just realised something. In the cutscene where Dr. Wily says Mega Mans got Roboenza at the end he sneezes. At the final battle Dr. Wily sneezes sometimes. At the end of the game finally Mega realizes that Wilys got a fever. Get what I am getting at? The first thing I mentioned, (the cutscene) is based when Robots still have Roboenza. THEN in the final cutscene it shows a ton of pills on a hospital bed with a open window... I think... DR. WILYS A ROBOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! look at the facts!!! (above.)

And you see how he denies being a robot in MM10... maybe he is a perfect copy who doesn't even know his true origin... until the catches roboenza. That would explain his apparently good action giving away a lot of roboenza medicine. Actually it was the best to do for his own health.
Then you add up evil energy (MM8) + roboenza + robot Wily and you get the Wily/Sigma virus + how Wily could be helping Sigma (MMX5).
@rcparts oh yeah i remember now... yeah he did build as robot wily... and Wily actually APPEARS in one of the x games... (think it was 5.) well a shadow anyway. but these are pretty good theorys. I just cant believe that wily might be a robot... but it would explain why hes in all the other games after MM3. anyway at the end of MM3 you can see Wilys Capsule fly away in the background... this is mysterious.
@UntilDeath333 Mega Man isn't really a story-oriented series. Mario was the same way; in every game Bowser kidnaps Peach and Mario rescues her. But that doesn't make either series bad, since the gameplay more than makes up for it.

I actually like this ending. Really, people blow what Wily does out of proportion. That he's supposed to be some wicked old man when all he does is steal, make some robots and fights Mega Man. The most evil thing he's done is kidnapping and that wasn't even that big. Wily is a cartoony villain for a cartoony game.

I like reading your review while I wait for the video to load, I disagree a bit like replay value since there are only 9 stages (12 if you divide wily's) but what matters is that something got me occupied while waiting, more people should do what you just did!
but final stage layout doesn't meet the epicness of the castle there should be something like a portal preferrably an elevator like mmx8 that transports to the top floor of the castle
I have yet to see this game come out for the DSi, however. It's nice in all to how Nintendo is treating their Wii Shop Channel System with exclusive games such as these, but it doesn't make any sense to why games like these aren't making it to the DSi when it was built for that kind of specific reason like the Wii's Shop Channel to begin with.
cause the wii-shop includes lots of new and old games and content for new and old videogame fans. the wii is the nintendo system with the most games on it. you can download a lot of games, and it is also compatible to the gamecube games. this is how a new generation learns to know mega man as a new and an old series.
Other things is that Dr.Wily always was pictured as rotten evil in the MM universe, always deceiving and always just wanting to kill and destroy... It was like so in MM1-9 and through the whole MMX and MMZ series (where he was referenced in them, like when it gets revealed in X5 that he was controlling the events all along).
Plus Mega Man wanted to kill him in MM7, now he brings him to hospital?

Not a bad game, but the story is disappointing. Wiley just escapes so that you have to buy megaman 11 in 2011 and megaman 12 in 2012. The last megaman before the world ends. And it looks like they still can't top megman 2 and 3.
if you mean the system- you can't expect them to keep developing for old systems. most games are going to be for ps3, xbox, and wii now.
if you mean the price of the game, then you're really stupid, it's the same price on all three, and a fraction of the price you'd have to pay back in the NES days for a new copy.
i just beat this game. i was so happy to complete it. Then I saw the ending and got dissapointed. The ending is junk. I was expecting an ending like mega man 9 or better. Mega man 9 was better.
Bass doesn't have a different story, actually, it's the same ending as Proto or Mega, except that there is a little cutscene between Wily stage 1 and 2 where Bass catches robotenza and Treble gives him a cure.
Not even the NES mega man games, had endings so short and uninspiring. Why didn´t they create and ending/credits like the one in MM 9? Those were satisfaying and well done !!

I thought Megaman 9 was not such a bad idea in the end, at first I damned them for doing such a move, but returning to the roots was not so bad. Now It is time that people realise that Capcom knows that everybody wants 8-bit, so they will put less and less effort in the products and continue to create rehash of Megaman 2 that will be worse and worse as time goes.
So, what happened in the end? Dr. Wily escaped again, didn't he? So should there be a Mega Man 11 now? And what happened to Roll? DId she recover from the roboenza?
WOW, I just got to Wily's castle so I'm almost done with the game and I don't mind spoilers, but it's pretty kool to finally have a final battle in space, in the main series and not the Gameboy Titles. Thinking of the gameboy games I can't wait to face off against the Megaman Killers that's going to be fun.

I would have to say that the best and most challenging Wily Capsule fight was in Mega Man 7.

The ending was super weak compared to MM9, as well as the plot itself.
I at least thought they'd reveal that the Roboenza was a predecessor to the Zero Virus or something.

I have yet to see this game come out for the DSi, however. It's nice in all to how Nintendo is treating their Wii Shop Channel System with exclusive games such as these, but it doesn't make any sense to why games like these aren't making it to the DSi when it was built for that kind of specific reason like the Wii's Shop Channel to begin with.

cause the wii-shop includes lots of new and old games and content for new and old videogame fans. the wii is the nintendo system with the most games on it. you can download a lot of games, and it is also compatible to the gamecube games. this is how a new generation learns to know mega man as a new and an old series.

Other things is that Dr.Wily always was pictured as rotten evil in the MM universe, always deceiving and always just wanting to kill and destroy... It was like so in MM1-9 and through the whole MMX and MMZ series (where he was referenced in them, like when it gets revealed in X5 that he was controlling the events all along).
Plus Mega Man wanted to kill him in MM7, now he brings him to hospital?

I'd like to see as MM keeps shooting Wily for minutes while he is escaping..

This was a good practice for Wily before creating the Zero virus.
All I mind that MM9-10 doesn't contribute to the X story. I totally expected to see where Mega Man and Roll vanishes (along with Wily) and how Light starts to put X together. But not even Bass is shown in these...

Not a bad game, but the story is disappointing. Wiley just escapes so that you have to buy megaman 11 in 2011 and megaman 12 in 2012. The last megaman before the world ends. And it looks like they still can't top megman 2 and 3.

if you mean the system- you can't expect them to keep developing for old systems. most games are going to be for ps3, xbox, and wii now.

i just beat this game. i was so happy to complete it. Then I saw the ending and got dissapointed. The ending is junk. I was expecting an ending like mega man 9 or better. Mega man 9 was better.

Bass doesn't have a different story, actually, it's the same ending as Proto or Mega, except that there is a little cutscene between Wily stage 1 and 2 where Bass catches robotenza and Treble gives him a cure.

Not even the NES mega man games, had endings so short and uninspiring. Why didn´t they create and ending/credits like the one in MM 9? Those were satisfaying and well done !!

I thought Megaman 9 was not such a bad idea in the end, at first I damned them for doing such a move, but returning to the roots was not so bad. Now It is time that people realise that Capcom knows that everybody wants 8-bit, so they will put less and less effort in the products and continue to create rehash of Megaman 2 that will be worse and worse as time goes.

WOW, I just got to Wily's castle so I'm almost done with the game and I don't mind spoilers, but it's pretty kool to finally have a final battle in space, in the main series and not the Gameboy Titles. Thinking of the gameboy games I can't wait to face off against the Megaman Killers that's going to be fun.
