I"m not an opera fan at all, but this has got to be one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard in my life. This child is a gift from God, for sure. This song makes me forget all my problems of the day. It takes me away, and she blows me away! Amazing.

I have compared this performance to Charlotte Church's and also Hayley Westenra's. And I have to say one thing: As beautiful ly as Charlotte and Hayley sang, only this performance--Jackie Evancho's--gives me chills EVERY TIME. Why? I don't know. But, personally, I think she's a gift from God to us all.

@Aelnyana - I agree with you 100%. I too feel that Jackie's ability is God given, but I think it might be even more than that. What would be more appropriate than for God to reach out to the world via the innocence of a 10 year old little girl? What better way for God to reach the hearts of millions? The only one's who can't see this are the one's who's hearts are already so hardened that they can't see this beautiful gift from God anyway. God is reaching out to everyone, but do we see?

@JohnQuincyAdams1 I have these exact same thoughts, John! I feel that God has sent us a voice to soothe us and remind us that He is there in this increasingly troubled and dark world. Yes, God is reaching out through this wonderful little girl. She is so very blessed, and so are we. As to "do we see?" Let those who have eyes to see, see, and those who have ears to hear, listen. The Light is Good...come in from the darkness.
