Let Me Tell You Something, With a very Heavy Heart. There Was Nobody Tougher Than Bob. He Was the Toughest "Mother Fucker" the hockey world ever seen. The Greatest Heavyweight Champion of all time. R.I.P. Probie!! Love Ya!! "Ooho Baby"!!!!!
I worked with Bob Probert for about 30 days during the making of the "Love Guru" movie in all the Hockey scenes. The movie may be a flop, but Bob Probert was a Class Act, A gentle giant, and a kind man to all who knew him.
Oh yeah, he just happens to be the greatest scoring enforcer in the history of the NHL. He was just an all around great guy, and will be truly missed.
Bob Probert will be missed. One of the greatest enforcers to ever lace up a pair of skates. Retired in the 2001-02 nhl season while with Chicago Blackhawks. During his career he scored 163 goals, had 221 assists in 935 career games and had 3,300 minutes in penalties and paticipated in 233 fights. Bob passed away Mon. June 5th, 2010. He was only 45 yrs old. We're all going to miss you Bob.....RIP.
You are so right, he is the heavyweight champion of hockey for all time. I was lucky to see Gordie Howe when I was growing up and he was tough. But Big Probert was the absolute greatest fighter ever. He watched Stevie Y's back while he scored a boatload of goals. Great posting of the greatest fighter of them all.
Wow, those punches against McGill! that must be the fight where he said, in the TSN off the record interview, that he brought McGill a beer after the game.
Just bought his book , Tough Guy, that he wrote about himself. Some good so far. I suggest buyin it.
