@TheWONDERBOYZ1 No Freddie Mercury was not a muslim, DeKoningPintenman is wrong. Freddie was a Zoroastrian (an ancient persian religions practiced mostly in parts of India today). Freddie was not from an island near Italy, he was born in Zanzibar and his parents were Parsis (an indian people) from India. His real name was Farrokh Bulsara.
@Krazus100 pretty sure his mother was muslim and name was mustapha. i could be wrong but whats the reason why he has many islamic verses in his lyrics
This was just sung on the Czecho Slovak Superstar by Michal Šeps, a crazy guy who happened to end up as the best Czech male singer in the top 4. He's singing some kind of his personal reggae - but with this choice of a crazy song and his comedy-style performance, I was just rolling laughing on the floor. It was hilarious! Not even Allah could have guessed what genre and language it has been.
@NCISloverMT2 Did you love it without rolling on the floor though? :-) When it comes to more serious loving which made me smile, but not hysterically laugh, I preferred Maťko Harich who just sounds great, manly, and infinitely optimistic. And Gabriela's Queen was also good, wasn't it?
@lumajs look.. I dont look at this schow.. lukas adamec is very good im too from kosice, I know him.. gabriela is ok.. I dont like harich..im glad hes out.. and the "problem" what I look this show for is Michal Seps :) its my idol.. and you can say anything it cant be changed..
i am arabish decendent and i can tell you a thing... he is inventing words, but ... thath matters? to me doesnt, Only Mustapha, ibrahim Salaam Aleiku are real
@fredytrooper95 exact this is kind of "delirium" this song... but this is great!!!!!!!!!! and all was invented except the words "salam" "ibrahim" and "mustapha" there are no other arab words in this... and for those who pretend that FM was muslim, you should pay more attention to what you type... yet it is great! i adore!
@mmuk71 Freddie's family were not Muslims. They were Parsis. Freddie and his family practiced the Zoroastrian religion. Zoroastrianism is a religion and philosophy based on the teachings of prophet Zoroaster (also known as Zarathustra, in Avestan) and was formerly among the world's largest religions. It was probably founded some time before the 6th century BC in Persia (Iran).
@mmuk71 Not at all. Freddies parents were zoroastrians of persian descent. The zoroastrians fled from todays Iran to India (from where both Freddies parents stem) from muslim persecution in the 9th century.
Freddie was born in Zanzibar, spent a gerat deal of his upbringing in India and was buried with a zoroastrian ceremony.
