@steven4rmnewyork not true. police in some prefects use skyline R34s for their police cars. all the cars are ELECTRONICALLY governed to 180kph if you go pass it there are CAMERAS EVERYWHERE IN WANGAN.. on the drifting part? yes it prolly be easy. for some mountain roads are just to far for the police to come.

well if you really want to learn how to drift id say invest on a car first (which prolly you cant at the moment) say a 240 or any rearwheel drive car (so if youre given a honda go cry at your parents and ask for a 240) then learn how to properly maintain the car which will cost you money (i hope you have a job coz tires are expensive) then go hit the local drift/gymkhana tracks. after all this you can learn to drift BAD.

@bufbarnaby first of all, the difference between a power slide and a drift is that in a drift the car is sideways before the apex. So they are not the same thing.

Besides that, most drifters don't try to call it "racing". In a sense it's more compareable to surfing. In that it's a judged sport, done just for the passion and excitement of doing it because its fun.

And i'll take your word for how hard it is after you've tried drifting a car through a canyon... OR rally racing.
