I LOVE my '09 SS. It's a family car with 6 airbags and NTSA's highest safety rating. 260hp out of the box, launch control, no-lift shift, beefed-up short throw transmission, beefed-up suspension, 4 discs, 18" alloys w/ low profile Michelins, etc. A few simple additions like a stage 1 turbo upgrade, tune, exhaust, motor mounts, and sway bar and you're well over 300 hp and a great handling car for very, VERY few dollars. Fun around town, and at Willow Springs, too.
Sweet. I hear the tunes and bolt ons make a huge difference! I can't wait to start modding. Did you figure out how to turn off all of your electronic safty systems. ESC, Antilock brakes? It is fun!!
im getting a hhr ss in black very soon. im so excited! i just hope it doesnt look like a hearse lol....but it a small car or medium? il looks a little bigger than other small cars in pics.

For being big and heavy it picks up great. Gobs of torque! I've beaten full bolt on spec v's, walked a 98 cobra with at least exhaust, door to door with a bolt on 350z. I love it. I was going to get a used ss/sc but test drove the hhr ss and felt the turo spool and was sold.
@VitaminE6SS Launch control is really bad for your car. use it while you can b.c the car isnt worth much when you use it a lot. also i would honestly never buy that car for one of a couple reasons. one, it chevy. chevy is one of the worst cars out there. and lastly, it chevys version of the PT Cruiser, and we all know how great they are. oh yeah production on them ended b.c the car was a piece of shit.
