@happymarik you need something to route each channel of audio to each separate channel on the mixer.. thats where the audio8 comes in :)

@denizistheboss not really a question you can answer, both are great mixers that come down to personal preference. in MY opinion, the 92 is far superior from the audio quality. Some say 92 is not as good because it lacks effects, but again in MY opinion, thats another strength as the 800's effects sound like shit.

Djm 800 - digital mixer + 3eq

Xone 92 - analog mixer + 4eq

If you want to play minimal, techno or techhouse I would choose the 4eq analog edition with the most powerfull filter! ;-)

If you want to play house or hardtech stuff I would choose the pioneer. Both mixers are really nice! you have to know what you want!

Hi, if your using traktor or ableton can you cue and scratch tracks using the dial on the xone 1D I dont have CDJ's and my numark vinyl decks are really run down

I once saw pictures of a Xone 4D setup with a 1D placed on each side, it was so that each of the 4 decks had its individual 1D controller. But the guy was just nuts about buying things and I didn't really get to hear any mixes from him using them.

Let me clarify...one Xone 4D, which already has two 1D areas, plus two MORE separate 1Ds! It was the most absurd mixer setup I've seen.

Wise move..im also buying my DJM800 and stuck in thinking about either getting Xone:92 and couple 1D's or Xone4D. many ppl tell me to go seperate better, why? i dunno lol but im doing exactly like u did..cheers mate oh and ty for the vid. :)

Separate is better for portability reasons mostly. The 3d/4d is enormous, and not that piratical to travel with. I take my 1d to gigs locally and internationally, but wouldn't have that option with the 3d, so thats why its good to split it up. If you are going to just keep it at home and never travel, id probably go with the 4d before a 92/2x1d combo. Keep in mind that the 3d/4d also has pretty much an audio 8 soundcard built in, whereas the combo does not.

The 4D is so much better than the 4D. Though I would probably go with 2x2Ds and an audio interface. That way you can use any mixer and still have most [all] the same functions.

Having two 1Ds and a 92 is actually more than having a 3d. I see that you got rid of the EFX. Makes sense since Traktor has some effects in it. That 505 is pretty cool.

Maybe I'll do a video showing my setup in my new place. I need to find a good place for my moniters.

If you got another 1D, you may decide to go sans-CDJ.
