The Watersons' did a wonderful version of this hymn some years ago. In fact, I think the album it's on is called Sound, Sound Your Instruments of Joy. Life affirming music I call it.
Ah... Troon. I once knew a lovely girl from Troon called Siobhan N. Many a-time I walked up Camborne Hill or took my life in my hands on a Grenville bus (in the 70s & 80s)!
