which together would make it 4 exhaust 2 on each sides would it work??

@Shadowstep6278 it will take out your o2 sensors and the computer will think your gas doesn't have enough oxygen and eventually fuck up the engine. but there is like 3 cats on this vehicle and the third one doesn't have the sensors so its ok

that would make sense considering there are 2 exhaust manifolds, they wouldnt just make one car where the pipes come together

I don't know if your trying to prove me wrong or what, but my 97 dodge ram has one cat. I had muffler, cat (and y-pipe), and all the way back replaced and the OEM y-pipe only has a single cat.

The old magnum series engines (the 5.2 and 5.9) had one cat, the new series engines like the 4.7 and 5.7 both have two cats.

i was glad in the end with my exhaust set p cuz i wanted the cat cut off and i was afraid it would mess up the o2 sensors and computer and all but in the end i just got the 3rd one taken off which is after all teh sensors and all and doesnt affect anything

Yeah that's what I was assuming. You'd have a pre-cat and post-cat o2 sensors on the two and the third is kinda pointless.
