i am highly skeptical of everything anyone says - but if he carries through with the three things that stood out for me from the speech.
1. a cap on how much people can be charged for major health problems
2. making it illegal for insurance companies to deny people based on pre-existing conditions
3. making it illegal to drop people once they get seriously ill

At least from what I've seen, there are not a lot of things in the bill that will bring down costs, but there are a lot of things that will add to costs. So again, I honestly would prefer no loaf to a half a loaf of bread, because that half a loaf is only going to make health care reform look bad ten years down the line if costs are skyrocketing in an economy that's already put far too much into its failing health care.
