I'm glad Kate is dead...don't misunderstand, it's not because I prefer Ziva, I love both of them equally. But I love Sasha as Dr. Maura Isles more...so if Sasha had stayed on NCIS, then she wouldn't have been cast as the wonderful Dr. Isles in 'Rizzoli & Isles'.
So for that reason, I'm glad she left NCIS, I love her more in Rizzoli & Isles! =P

Personally, I never saw Tate as a potential couple, their chemistry was a lot like a love-hate brother & sister relationship, even Kate herself thought so. I felt she was a better fit for Gibbs.

Thanks for the video, nice work! If I had my way, both Kate and Ziva would be on the show but Sasha Alexander wanted off because of the hours. But the REAL reason Sasha left the show was because filming took too much of her time & she wanted to start a family. This reason was confirmed by Sasha herself and the director of the show.
I guess they wanted her exit to be a lot more dramatic that would really make a big impact...if they just had Kate leave the agency, it wouldn't be dramatic, and it wouldn't make sense either...I mean, Kate loves working with NCIS, so why would she suddenly want to leave? And she is one of the key characters in the Ari arc.
So killing her off made the most sense, and the writers used the Ari arc again to kill her & eventually that's how Ziva came into the picture.
What I really hate about Ziva is that in her whole first season she had this "Kate is dead, get over it" attidute. Let's not forget that the only reason Ziva was there at all is that because her own brother killed Kate...

@elhealy123..... I don't know the name or epi number but it's the one where kate/tony and gibbs go aboard a ship to help a prior Agent that was on Gibbs team.... It was about a flight crew being drugged by their CO. The scene is where Kate is telling Tony that his relationship with Gibbsis different than the one Gibbs has with the Agent Afloat. At the end the other agent said it took three years for Gibbs to call him by the correct name so then said"So he(Gibbs) must really like you"

I didn't cry when Jenny died...I predicted she would die, because she had been sick for a while before they killed her off the show...so when she died, I wasn't surprised at all. I was kinda sad at the time since I liked Jenny, but I got over her death pretty soon.
But Kate's death was very sudden & unexpected, many fans were so heartbroken when she died, I was too, it took me a long time to get over her death.

no Kate and Ziva never formally met each other...but after Kate died, her ghost did see Ziva in the swimming pool in the ep 'Kill Ari (part 2)'...in the scene, they were at a hotel swimming pool where Ziva was swimming, and Kate's ghost was talking to Tony while he watched Ziva.
yeah...but at least the writers filmed the ep 'a man walks into a bar' for season 8 that paid tribute to Kate after all these years...I thought that was nice...and in that ep, it was obvious that the team still thinks about Kate even after 6 years.
Kibbs isn't really my thing...I'm a Tate girl all the way lol. I've actually been watchin season 2. I was watching See No Evil and at the start when McGee is under her desk upgrading computer networks I tried to imagine Ziva's reaction as opposed to Kate's and come up with a big fail lol

OMG I love Ziva and Tony together. They look really cute. It's all the sexual tension that happens between the characters. I agree though Ziva is not a replacement, but an addition to the team. She is the newest Gibblet.

Yeah I love Ziva, I like Kate though. I don't care if you u thumb me down for saying I love Ziva and it's not true she didn't have emotion, I empathize with her character. Her role in NCIS even got her a nomination for American Latino Media Arts (ALMA) Award
i like Ziva more, she is so especial, is a tough but sensitive, smart and funny, but the most important thing is that she loves the team and would give her life to keep it save. I know that kate too, and I miss her. But Ziva is Ziva, and I cant stop loving her!

I like the way the two characters are toally different. The things I liked about Kate aren't part of Ziva's personality and the things I like about Ziva Kate doesn't have. They are toally different, I think that's why the show continued on as well as it did after Kated died.

@bedifferentbepink No they did not unless they meet before the seris started. Ziva's first ep was Kill Ari part one (the one that started after Kate died I think that's the name pretty sure it's season 3 ep1)

AAAAhhhh i pretty much cried watching this! I like how all of your video responses are from like a year ago and i just come in now. ha ha. I am strictly Tiva and Jibbs, but i love and miss Kate!!! Oh and Jenny! Ahhhh so sad! woohoo season 8! Great video!

I didn't cry when Jenny died...I predicted she would die, because she had been sick for a while before they killed her off the show...so when she died, I wasn't surprised at all. I was kinda sad at the time since I liked Jenny, but I got over her death pretty soon.
But Kate's death was very sudden & unexpected, many fans were so heartbroken when she died, I was too, it took me a long time to get over her death.

no Kate and Ziva never formally met each other...but after Kate died, her ghost did see Ziva in the swimming pool in the ep 'Kill Ari (part 2)'...in the scene, they were at a hotel swimming pool where Ziva was swimming, and Kate's ghost was talking to Tony while he watched Ziva.

yeah...but at least the writers filmed the ep 'a man walks into a bar' for season 8 that paid tribute to Kate after all these years...I thought that was nice...and in that ep, it was obvious that the team still thinks about Kate even after 6 years.

Kibbs isn't really my thing...I'm a Tate girl all the way lol. I've actually been watchin season 2. I was watching See No Evil and at the start when McGee is under her desk upgrading computer networks I tried to imagine Ziva's reaction as opposed to Kate's and come up with a big fail lol

For me ziva is not a replacement, like GossipGirl9876, Kate can't be replaced.
I just LOVE Ziva but she is NOT a replacement. She is the "new" part of the team.
But still, I don't think that "Tiva" is much better than "Tate".
I think tony should of stayed with Jeanne (To bad she's gone...) and Ziva with Rivkin (to bad he's dead).

OMG I love Ziva and Tony together. They look really cute. It's all the sexual tension that happens between the characters. I agree though Ziva is not a replacement, but an addition to the team. She is the newest Gibblet.

I like Tate, but I also loved Tony and Jeanne together. I also (obviously) love Ziva and Tony together but I hate it when he goes out with other chicks and acts all perverted. It's just not right to see him like that when he's got Kate or Ziva. As Ziva said in Identity Crisis Tony needs a woman not a girl. Kate and Ziva are both perfect for him.

I'm not all only TATE...I'm one of the few peoplewho LOVED Tony/Jeanne but I really really don't like Tiva...I tired...I really did but no...I put it down to being one of the "older generation" NCIS fans...and by that I mean that I've been watching since the beginning. And I'm not trying to offend you if you have too but I'm just saying that's my reason.

I really enjoyed that video, I actually don't like Ziva or Kate better than the other, I really like them both, but they are completely different so I don't think its fair to compare them. Though I do have to say that I think Kate and Tony were more like brother and sister than a potential couple, I would have loved for Ziva and Kate to have met though, lol, could you imagine them teaming up on Tony, lol, that would be like his worst nightmare ^_^

i convinced my law teacher to let my do my project based around NCIS! yet another subject i have worked NCIS in to! i even used it in the NAPLAN testing last week! it envolved Tony and Kate, and a box with something you, i and Loz would all want to see happen! and has happened in many of our stories! I really miss KAte sometimes...mostly when I'm watching a heap of eps in one day...or watching the first season of criminal minds...there's a chick who reminds me of KAte...Elle. i like Ziva more, she is so especial, is a tough but sensitive, smart and funny, but the most important thing is that she loves the team and would give her life to keep it save. I know that kate too, and I miss her. But Ziva is Ziva, and I cant stop loving her!

I like the way the two characters are toally different. The things I liked about Kate aren't part of Ziva's personality and the things I like about Ziva Kate doesn't have. They are toally different, I think that's why the show continued on as well as it did after Kated died.
