Final level---Quake----Shub-Niggurat's Pit (Hard Skill)

Theres a bug in the earlier patches of this last level. It was possible to kill Shub-Niggurath just by using Guns with loads of quad damages. Sometimes the game would crash, other times the ending sequence would play. They fixed it eventually.

@JAA13622 During experiments with 'SlipGates', a portal to the Quake dimension is opened. An invasion begins, and its your mission as the only marine left to enter the Quake dimension and kill the leader.

Its kinda similar to the Doom 3 storyline.

yes its best to save shock rifle and nail gun ammo for the white yeti guys and use shotgun and rocket launcher on everyone else

There is no way this is on nightmare skill.... Shamblers usually take about 12 hits to go down with the rocket launcher in the original quake, not 6 like in this vid

I was disappointed with the ending. The giant mother squid god just explodes. I was hoping for one more puzzle. I really liked this game though, and the zombies and ghosts gave me chills for a little while.

wars are not related to the quake story and were purely made for the multiplayer experience. i cant wait for quake 5. which i know they will make due to quake 4's ending, but i wont spoil that for you.

the origional quake doesnt really have a story. it was the start of something great, which was shown in the games to come. quake 2's story takes you to earth to fight your way 2 the strogg stronghold and you kill there leader, the macron. in quake 4, it picks up where quake 2 left off. now you are on planet stroggos and you fight your way 2 the nexus to blow it up. you get to fight the new macron and in the end when your emp fails you man up and defeat the nexus on your own! quake 3 and quake

Hey, FuhQuake is high quality, but your quality is bad. Maybe you using fuhquake? Me using fuhquake-gl. fuhquake-gl has a better quality. try to download it. If you already have fuhquake-gl, why you don't use it?

No, FuhQuake-gl is better quality, and it's evident, more greater quality. Because your mod is like Win JoeQuake, one of the mod of quake is like your mod. when i play quake, shamblers take alot more rockets to kill, different version perhaps? wish they had an ending sequence but I guess they couldn't spare any more memory for one. Awesome game. Wish there was a Nightmare Skill for Quake 2!

I loved how the doors for the others episodes would be blocked after you complete them, and then after all were completed there would be this big hole you could descend into... very cool

Something is not correct here. Shamblers take only half damage from a grenade/rocket hit, which, with their 600 hit points, translates to 12 explosions. Here they go down after 6.

it does lol, to reach it go to the area where it says your worst nightmares come true, go in water TURN AROUND push your face into the wall and when your falling just press the forward key ONCE your land on wood and theirs a cave go in and you found the nightmare skill, congrats!

It's FuhQuake, an open source modification of Quake made by ID software. Yeah, it's better than Quake 95 version, not so pixelated you can see.

Well, if you take a look, they were made with polygons, so I think they cannot move their mouths as they want at all...they actually shoot you with their powerful lighting or what you wanna call it...it is very harmful indeed
