I noticed that myself in making the video. I have no idea what it is. It is not an effect which I put into the video nor one that was in the original footage. I was working security while making this video (great security huh!!) and that freaked me out so much I couldn't do my rounds alone!! I think you are the first to notice it...at least the first to tell me about it.
Sorry, but this is nothing supernatural. This is an effect you get sometimes when you have errors in the film-editing process. Digital video is not stored as a bunch of single frames but as changes compared to the preceding frame ("P-Frames" in video-compression-jargon). So obviously the "ghosts" are in fact P-Frames from a different footage.
i deployed to Sri Lanka after the 2004 tsunami. that place sure was a mess. i could tell from what was left that it had to of been some very beautiful ocean front property.
i remember seeing a tipped over train where i was too. it was a passenger train also. a lot of people must've drowned on that train that i saw.
most of the bodies were recovered by the time my unit got there although there was a lot of rebuilding to do.
nice video. thats some good fottage i havent seen before
very moving video. I created a song called tiny troopers that pays homage to the people affected by this disater. Please have a listen on Myspace music under Reactive Doze. There are two versions of the song. tiny troopers zero will have a video to accompany it.
oh my, that boy at the end. thats so sad, i actually looked up his name(on the bottom of his note) and it turned out his parents and brothers died;/ he's living with his grandparents now.
wow, powerfull images to a powerfull song. the footage never stops being shocking. Yeh, the words realy bring it home just how inpermanent the little world we build round ourselves are. We can loose it all in one instant. Truely........... there but for the grace of God go I.
ugh its so sad when the small kid lost his parents and his brothers what will he do? who's going to take care of him can you imagine if your parents and your relatives were killed or lost? what can you do? and good video i learnt a lesson
to all who lost their lives at the hands of the deadly waves, to the living, moving on without their precious loved ones. May God be with you. Lest we forget the agony of losing someone near and dear.

The genuine humanity that this calamity brought to the surface raised the bar for human nature. Every survivor is a hero, not one death was in vain.

I still find it hard to believe that over 200000 people died due to this tsunami in 2004.. it's devastating

We have a very strong earthquake of M8.5 on September 13, 2008 in the Luzon offing, and a massive tsunami occurs in the South China Sea.
This large-scale earthquake brings the very big damage in Hong Kong of the southern part in China.
在吕宋岛海上在2008年9月13日有M8.5的非常强大的地震以及大津波在南海发生。
