Seriously, did I hear you mention NOT to use DUCT TAPE? The title says advance painting techniques, I am sure no advanced painter would ever consider using duct tape. I am quite sure even the majority of beginning painters would not use that kind of tape. Sadly, this video is a waste of time.

so much for advanced, this is actually recommended for novices so they can get a feel of a hard edge. I just use a flat and run my brush slowly and I have a totally sraight edge without it being too hard and being considered architectural work nor too soft being considered impressionistic.

Maybe you should show your techniques on actual paintings you're working on. This was not impressive.

from what i gather its not meant to be impressive , its meant to give a few tips, and this is very useful for an art student who needs some quick tips
