  • in the valley!

    how modern!

  • All good versions of the Xmas tunes---part of my Xmas repertoire!

  • Funny the though popped into my head to go find this version just to night...I had the 78 in my storage and enjoyed it in high school. You only posted it 2 days ago! We must be in tuned with the universe--hee hee!!

  • Yep - this is indeed the flip to Glenn's "Jingle Bells" - and, as a consequence, it's the only Alvino Rey 78 I own. ;)

One that was broken in a move was Tommy Dorsey's version of this from 1935 that swung and riffed like MAD!!!!! The flip? "Jingle Bells" by Benny Goodman, also from 1935. ;)

Glad I was able to project some positive waves with this cut, Greg. :)

  • This is the flip side to Glenn Miller's "Jingle Bells"... Certain lists get this side confused and think Glenn Miller did this one too. Love this version the best!!!

  • Awesome! Let the Christmas Celebrations begin!!!

  • I'm so ready for it this year. :)

  • Very cool version of this song that I've never heard before!

    Happy Thanksgiving.

  • Thanks, Jeff - and to you as well. :)
