Nice win man , im getting into iracing this comming week cant wait to try this stuff out and drive with alot of people who share the same passion as i do. I played alot of NASCAR 09 on xbox360. Yes i know that wasnt nearly as realistic as this but with a wheel is was alot of fun and with the right guys really competitive. Hope to be doing alot of this kinda racing.
price? so wut it's still a buisness and to be honest if u race as a full content player the money in the beginning spent is more than worth it if u play the game for like 7 months or so cause the competition and the overall fun value is amazing <3 iracing
im only in rookie legends still since i started on christmas but i like laniers so much better than south boston cuz its so much wider and you have much more room to pass or avoid crashes because some guys dont know wat there doin
@simracer13 there are a ton of options to choose from as far as pricing goes so it really all depends on what you are looking at running. They have dropped the prices a little bit and added new cars, tracks and series so it can be anywhere from 12-15 bucks a month to just paying the 90 or so for the year up front and not worry about a monthly payment
i got it to , lanier is pretty fun in late model if u can be decently clean lol but pricing is stilll pretty high for tracks and car but pretty much have all of them now so whatever olol
yea, I am going back to the adv. legends for a while to run for a championship and since I wil be running legends this year (hopefully). After that I will go back to late models and probably go over to mids. Once I get enough good finishes and wins I will go to the silver crowns and have some fun with those before I move over to the NASCAR series'.
@PredaterJ i took a late model to dega last night in testing for fun. With the highest gear ratio it tops out around 169 mph on straights and 165 in the turns.
Yup, there are quite a few NASCAR drivers on iRacing. They are usually real down to earth and are real run guys to race against. I think Jimmie Johnson just got one and I have raced against Marcos Ambrose a few times.

they have recently redone all their pricing so they are all lower costs now.
I think the late model is $12 now, but i'm not exactly sure on that one. All I know is that I'm def. glad that you are joining iRacing and with the lowered prices, now is the best time, imho
yup, I love Iracing. I just got my MPR fulfilled and I am at a 4.16 sr despite a streak of 4-5 bad races of getting wrecked in the adv. legends so I'll be a class C by the end of the month.
with this setup I am pretty consistent in the .3's with the occasional .2 and by the end of the race I usually only fall to a .5, of course it depends on how much passing I was doing in the race.

I have never races late models at Lowes so I'm not exactly sure. I know they can probably do 120+ but that's all I know.
As far as recording the race, I used fraps. You can buy it or download it and use it in a replay for best quality

tire pressures/spring rate:
lf- 19.0/ 275
lr- 19.0/ 200
rf- 32.0/ 275
rr: 32.0/ 200
