i think about in the cambodia. the nice life and the actual life of people cambodia is the poor. i think the goverment use the menagement people and development the education and i think the poor people the better in the future.
But we need progress if we are to compete with the world at large and the world economy,we need better road, better bridges, better school and better buildings, education, health, better leaders, better law and government and all that necessities,i'm just so sadden to see so much changes in my hometown province.
I hope Cambodia doesn't move too quickly. Images of it make it look fairly innocent, at least in the country (but definitely without all the convenience devices and food. Japan modernized so quickly and so has S. Korea and they have these social ills their culture doesn't prepare them for. I'm not so sure America was ready for the post WW2 prosperity.
@KhmerSerey1 Change is always inevitable no matter what. Progress always comes with two sides; the positive and the negative as well. It is the way of life! All we can do is to KEEP HOPE ALIVE!!
This is real Cambodia mate, this is the kind of place i longed to be,when i visit my province,i was borned in siamreap,i supposed progress is good, but i am saddened to see so much changes in Cambodia everytime i come home,i love the monsoon rain, the tropical climate, the flooding season and the dry harvest seasons, sometime i wish things stay just as it were when i was a kid growing up in siamreap, progress is quite sad.
I have traveled Cambodia twice so far.I love the Khmer people but I don't like the corrupt goverment there now. They care nothing for the poor Khmers.Like they haven't been through enough hell on earth already with k.r.
hey.. how come the driver didn't get pull over. I barely can see him. I think he is a little kid. Wow... what a classic ride. I got to get me 2 cows and a wheel driving down the freeway. lol
i just came back from cambodia recently, i am cambodian, and i love it there, the people there are great and i miss living there with family. everyone should at least visit cambodia, not only to see how amazing it is, but also to help the economy
to you they are poor, but it is all they know. They are very happy with lots of food and enough of everything else. Life is casual here, not stressed. It is not sad because they don't have I Pods...LOL
