@HolyMarluxia Yes and no ;p Gundam is huge, it's series that running since end of 70's, it start as a single universe (Universal Century/UC) that run in few series, they are in chronological order, but they run out of ideas so since 90s they introduced series in alternative universe starting from Gundam G which was not quite serious (treating gundam fights as world-wide sport), after that came Wing which was first alt universe with political theme same as UC
@HolyMarluxia (read my previous post first) I recommad you to try with original first gundam series if you want to go deeper in to gundam :) since every new alternative universe is based on what first Gundam series and original universe, and alternatives contains lot of reference which you wont understand without it. Shinn prolly manage to destroy 5 destroyers within a blink wit his destiny thats cos those destroyer pilotsaibt a high skilled pilot.
Only this one destroyer took a linger time due to love drama and cos os stellar pilotin it.

Lets assume for a second that Stellar stops and gets off the Destroy. Then what? She rides to the sunset with Shinn?
Cos' I'm pretty sure the ZAFT wouldn't let her go unpunished for what she did. At the very best she would be sent to an institution and be drugged till she became a vegetable.

@metroid24 A big suit like that should be easy to disable especially after losing it's air support. After not only slicing apart the arms and legs you could probably also slice apart it's backpack artillery. That's a majority of it's weapons and thrusters right there.

@Rayle75 Murasames, shitty? They're the ONLY transformable MS shown to be remotely competent with decent beam weapons, built by a positively tiny nation that's obviously not a reference to GRORIOUSU pre-WWII Japan, oh no, not at all.
In contrast, the Windam is several ranks lower than average cannon fodder and the DINN and BABI were shit concepts that might as well be built as planes if they're just going to give them guns only.

@Darkstar263 Zaft was not fighting to destroy the Naturals. Patrick Zala thought that destroying the naturals would guarantee coordinators freedom. Zaft and the Plants are fighting a war of independence, to sever their slave like bond to the Earth Alliance. The Plants were little more than agricultural bases for the Alliance who had more or less had forced the coordinators off of earth at the behest of Blue Cosmos. the Alliance is the one that has been fighting the war of extermination, not Zaft

Sting Oakley is an EXTENDED therefore he can shoot 3 Murasames with 3 ordinary Orb Military personnel. He can even shoot down 3 very skilled Orb pilots. He made ZAFT Ace Pilot Shinn Asuka (yuck) had a difficult time too.
Therefore Sting Oakley got OWNED!
I think this 2nd batch of Extendeds are more stable since they don't need to take some harmful drugs BUT combat-wise, this batch SUCKS.

@left4deadian wait how was it his fault, i mean the main reason stellar was attacking everythingg that moved was because of the drugs increasing her fear of anything that moved to the point that she couldn't tell friend from foe.
it was partially yamato's fault that he decided to go near her, after it was shown by shinn attacking him, that was the one who was causing her to attack at the moment.
it was only partially shin's fault because he caused the opening in the cockpit.

@left4deadian incase you didn't notice before hand, stellar was dying because she couldn't get back to neo, and there was no way to cure her without giving her back. and kira should have atleast noticed that once shin started trying to actually calm stellar down, instead of fighting her, that he would only get in the way.
and of cource kira did send her father-figure do his apparent death, plus all the other real deaths he unintentionally caused.
