wow. there are some rude people on here.....I mean, there is nothing wrong with making music. And whether or not the person likes it is irrelevant. I loved the song, your version. I have not heard the original though. great work!
This song makes me think of the people in Evin jail. there loneyness, pain and torture. It makes me think of the parents hoping and longing for their kids.
I'm so sad when I think of how this regime has shamed the country with the rape, and killing of people for the peaceful protest.
i cried wen i read the last line, its so true. i miss iran, and i want my country to have the best. if only there was a leader of some kind, one that undersood iran, because they themselves were actually iranian.
@BasijiHunter You must be talking about Shah Reza Pahlavi. Or the sadness of the coup against Messadeh? Or the Brittish taking all the Iranian oil to fuel its colonial domination in India and Africa? Oh ya we all miss the Shah whose father was a Hilter admirer. Oh, you must also be nostalgic of the SAVAK? Oh lets forget history and rewrite it.

It's a shame our culture doesn't cultivate more composition talent like this maestro more often......beautiful....this clip inspired me to buy a javad maroofi book and start learning some of his pieces.
what a master pice! what e unic harmoni! I never get tired of his piano! every singel time that i lessen to it. It tell me something new about our sole! the life the beauty of beeing here lessening to him! I love you man .....
Try not to pretend to be a musician, because it doesn't fit you! I don't know whether or not there is original sheet music available for the song, however, not anyone necessarily needs the sheet to play a melody! The melody you hear in the music is for sure credited to Javad Maroufi and no one can question that, the version here is arranged for orchestra based on the original melody by Shardad Rohani. if that makes no sense for you, then ask someone to translate it to your language.
No I am not! well that's just your personal taste, do not think that others would necessarily buy that comment! if you simply do not like this music, no one is forcing you to listen, find the original one and stick to it.
@sayedi100 What the hell man? I'm 11 years old and I am persian, I love this song and I play the piano by ear, AND GUESS WHAT? I played it. WITHOUT the sheets. THERE!
Speechless... This is the first tune I learnt on piano.. brings back thousands of memories. this is the best execution of the tune I've ever heard. RIP Javad maroufi Ostade pianoe Iran.
de ses doigts un peu usés le vieux monsieur nous fait un bien joli cadeau il joue si bien du piano petit mot qu'il méritait d'ajouter pour le féliciter encore merci saphault

Thanks Kambiz for your comment, actually I was about to refine the description for the video, however, I was not quite sure whether or not this piece is arranged by Mr. Rohani. I have made the necessary change as you have pointed out.

Interesting and and perhaps a bit innovative, but it does not even come close to the original by the late master.
The additions simply divert our focus froim both the melody and the piano. The original is simply irreplaceable!
