@karcy10 The game is not a skyrim clone like a lot have claimed. The combat, art style, leveling, world design, loot system, and a lot of the basic game design is all different. It has some similarities such as the crime system being similar and other systems being similar but as a whole they are only similar in the fact that they are large open world rpg's with a focus on allowing the player to do a lot of things outside the main story.

@Crusadermds They have been developing the pc version in house. That includes carefully designing and tweaking the UI and controls for PC and console. And if you want you can even switch between keyboard and mouse or xbox controller on the fly.

Besides the game is not a skyrim clone (which you seem to be implying). The combat, leveling, world design, and overall style of the game is not identical in any way to skyrim. Are there similarities? Yeah its an open world fantasy rpg. That doesn't mean it is a clone.

It's great the way this game's main designer worked on Morrowind and Oblivion. They seem to be taking a lot of cool things from those games and they can do it without any trouble with Bethesda. If this plays anything like Morrowind I will have to buy it

@brunogx27 No its not. It is similar as is every other open world rpg but there are a lot of differences. Amalur has a more action oriented combat style (although it is still heavily based around rpg elements like leveling, skills, and gear/loot). It runs on the destiny system: as you level based on how you spread your points you unlock destinies. These destinies give bonuses to your stats in order to keep any builds from becoming useless later on in the game cont in next post
