Anyway these are the best kickboxing videos on youtube. If anyone's interested in grappling, check out Stephan Kesting's videos. Or for technical boxing, Fran Sands.
I hate when other instructional vids go all fast and don't stress proper technique like these guys do. I wanna learn it the textbook way to correct any errors that might happen in the gym. Otherwise why bother?
thanks for sharing. good promo. like the details. i'm dimensional is classic. just kidding. don't kill me if i ever meet you. you look like a pretty cool guy. i am goint to check out your DVD's. thanks again.
heh great video. such straight punches too. I feel like most MMA guys aren't working that angle for the leg kick, or if they do they do it once per fight or less. hope to see you on more bellator cards!
They claim that Rob has over 6 Muay Thai World Titles, but why don't any of these so called titles show up on any fighter data base? The Huntington Beach mma guys are just running scams to try to trick all the rich dumbfuck white boys into giving them money to learn a wateredown version of muay thai.
Truth= Muay Thai in America is below mediocre. Muay Thai in OC is the absolute worst.
@TecoyaThomas your actually an idiot. dont come on youtube and pretend you know what your talking about. Rob is a 5 time WMTA champion, aswell as holding international titles in numerous other organisations, not to mention is WEC lightweight title (an mma title though). he is/was one of the best muay thai fighters for his weight in the world. true your not going to get the same training in the states as you would in thailand, but dont slate a world champion you retarded keyboard warrrior.
@TecoyaThomas There's all kinds of World Titles but World means international. Rob is an intense fighter - not taking anything away from him. But he never really fought a Yodsanklai, Buakaw, John Wayne Parr, Samkor, Noppadeat, and tons of others. There are so many World Titles that are in reality U.S. Titles. Even Thais in the U.S. were holding World Titles like Malaipet - but look what happened when he fought a Yodsanklai in a real international world title bout. So you are right on.
He is an awesome fighter his stand-up game is even still under rated. Rob breaks down the technique pretty much perfectly, but i just wanna throw out that this video is awkwardly boring.
Hmm, not to sound like im criticizing anything but those kicks seems slow....im pretty sure he could kick faster but also they seem pretty powerfull although they are slow. Im guessing there is more to kick power than speed.
Ok' 1st, u shouldn't hold your feet that position, its 45 degrees bro, than if u kick, i 'd bether say jab toss, left leg, than kill cigArette, at that point u dont have a choice but to twist your hips than kick the bag,,,, thats all, thanks.
@Legrandmacabe you need to pipe down with your comments. That or let this guy kick you and than post a video of what your leg looks like after the kick..... that is all....now scurry along hommie
@Cj5316 humm, i guess i weight more than him, 1st, 2nd, you cannot complain to a guy that you dont even know in real life, do you even know about me? do you know what i did in my life? what trains i already got? or whatever i dont even have to talk to you, you feel mad cause you cant execute the kick and your pissed, so stfu. please.
@Legrandmacabe Do I know about you? The question should have been do I care... You came on and made some ignorant comments on how to kick. This is the "basic" Kickboxing/Muay Thai fundamental way to attack. There are variations of this kick but this IS how you teach this particular kick. You can come to Abq. at Jacksons/Winklejohn if you want me or a (number of others) to show you haw that's done ;o)
@Cj5316 no thank you, im more of muay thai chaiya, ill keep with it.Now if you want to debate about something that your not even sure about, and also inviting me to your, whatever club and also think you have a chance to see me spend my time and money to come in your count, man you should start searching : how to cure mental desease, instead of learning how to kick videos.
Bros Rob holds 6 world champ titles. Unlike the majority of other people on Youtube he actually puts his skills to the test. I have seen many of his videos and he breaks down the technique better than most.

That's very interesting how he just pivots his left foot.
Bas Rutten had his instructional video on power kicks and he talk how he steps outward (left) and kick.

VERY IMPORTANT CONCEPTS :
ONE MUST TWIST THERE SUPPORTING ANKLE TO FACE THE OPPONENT AT THE MOMENT OF IMPACT..
WE CALLED THIS CRANKING THE KICK!!!
PIVIOT STEPS THEY ARE BASIC TO ALL WESTERN BOXING AND NEEDED IN THAI BOXING AS WELL.
PUNCHING LEADING INTO KICK IS VERY GOOD .
ITS ALL NEEDED TO MAKE A COMPLEATE FIGHTER .
