If there's anyone who's got this mod, but finds it a little too intense (I know I did), there's a way to get around it:

The XCC editor can interact with the MIX files that contain the data for the mod.

If you replace the Aimd.ini file, that will tone it down a lot.

A good mod, I just don't like getting owned a minute into the game.

If it says "error game not found", you'll have to reinstall Red Alert 2 nd Yuri's Revenge. For those that have clicked mod, and see no changes in the game, make sure you've patched the game Yuri's revenge to version 1.001 or above.

When you exit the game it will ask if you want to disable the mod. Just say yes, and the game will be normal the next time you play.

Depends what kind. Some mods use external programs to run them and can be a pain to get rid of. Others that rewrite ini files and screw up the mix files are easier to get rid of providing you've got backup files.

Best thing in my opinion would be to uninstall the game. Also delete everything left over so you don't have the same prob when you reinstall the game.

You should be able to rescue all your saved games and maps and whatnot, but I'd say it's safer to do it yourself.

Personally I've got a duplicate copy of everything anyway, cause I've got both RA2YR and the one in First Decade. So i just copy and paste all mix, shp, vxl, pal, tmp, sav, mpr, and most importantly ini files over to the dierectory I want. My other solution should be above.

LOL flying cookie. It's not buildable, it's just an airstrike ship for Yuri's psy commando unit. The psy commando basically functions like Boris the only difference is that he can disguise himself.
