I really don't think there is such a thing...I took a class called Victorian Literature a year ago, and I can safely tell you not one of the authours we covered had very similar style, except perhaps in language. Hope that answers your question, at least a little:)
Mr. Rochester is about 37. He was 26 when he decided to leave Jamaica. And after returning to England, which might have taken a while, he travelled for 10 years before he met Jane.
We read the novel this past fall in school. Jane is definitely 18. If I can remember correctly, it is implied that Rochester is 40, but it mentions later that he is 41.
Blanche Ingram is 25, and in the book, Mrs. Fairfax is talking about the age difference between Rochester and Blanche (which is 15 years) This makes Rochester 40.
But, like I said, it is later implied that he turned 41. I am not sure where because I don't own a copy of the book.
Interesting! I think the dear Charlotte is trying to confuse us, the Readers, with data that differs from reference to reference just as she does to prevent us from to fully understand when this story is taking place. Another age-reference is the indication that Mr. Rochester married Bertha at 21 and other places that it was 15 years since.
However I cannot recall that it is ever mentioned that Blance is 15 years younger than Mr. Rochester. It would be nice to know where that reference is.
[Jane, to herself] - "His [Rochester's] form was of the same strong and stalwart contour as ever [...]: not in one years space, by any sorrow, could his athletic strength be quelled or his vigorous prime blighted."
And from the same chapter:
[Rochester, to Jane] - "We must become one flesh without any delay, Jane: there is but the licence to get—then we marry."
According to this, Rochester was between 37 and 38 years old when Jane married him.
Ok, thanks for looking this up. I still have my reservations only because my teacher (who has been teaching this novel every year for 31 years) said he was 40 or 41. I don't doubt what you found, but I suppose that there are different clues elsewhere in the novel.
[The innkeeper to Jane] - "[...] Mr. Rochester was ABOUT FORTY, and this governess not twenty [...]"
In passing, the innkeeper's narration is not to be taken literally. For instance, when he says: "[...] but ONE EYE [Rochester's] was KNOCKED OUT [...]", he's wrong. Check chapter XXXVII:
[Rochester to Jane] - "Yes; with THE RIGHT EYE I see a glow [...]"
Rochester kept both his eyes: he only went completely blind of his left eye...
Perfectly a Jane Eyre movie.

Are you referring to the ages in the novel,
dochechkabronya and mollymac44?

I don't know if he had a birthday or something :)

Does it really?! 41? Where? I have missed that reference.

From chapter XIV of the novel:
[Rochester to Jane] - "I [...] was thrust on to a wrong tack at the age of one-and-twenty [...]"
And from chapter XXVI:
[Briggs to all 'in the church below yonder'] - "'I affirm and can prove that on the 20th of October A.D. --- (a date of fifteen years back) [...]'."
According to this, Rochester was somewhat over 36 when he tried to marry Jane while Bertha Mason was still alive.

From chapter XXXVII of the novel:
[Jane, to herself] - "His [Rochester's] form was of the same strong and stalwart contour as ever [...]: not in one years space, by any sorrow, could his athletic strength be quelled or his vigorous prime blighted."
And from the same chapter:
[Rochester, to Jane] - "We must become one flesh without any delay, Jane: there is but the licence to get—then we marry."
According to this, Rochester was between 37 and 38 years old when Jane married him.

From chapter chapter XII of the novel:
[Jane, to herself] - "[...] perhaps he [Rochester] might be thirty-five."
And from chapter XVI:
[Mrs. Fairfax to Jane] - "[..] Mr. Rochester is nearly forty; she [Blanche Ingram] is but twenty-five."
According to this, Rochester was somewhat under 40; Blanche Ingram, already 25.

The only other clue I found is in chapter XXXVI:
[The innkeeper to Jane] - "[...] Mr. Rochester was ABOUT FORTY, and this governess not twenty [...]"
In passing, the innkeeper's narration is not to be taken literally. For instance, when he says: "[...] but ONE EYE [Rochester's] was KNOCKED OUT [...]", he's wrong. Check chapter XXXVII:

Interesting. Like domramalaja said, Bronte can be a little confusing sometimes with all the different references!
