thank you for that... I work in a canadian humane sociaty for a living and it is very emotionally draining work. People yell at me every day. They call me an animal killer. I don't think they realize that I do it because I have to. I don't think they realize that after the deed is done I go and cry because I didn't want to do it. I don't like doing it. People surrender theier animals for stupid reasons. We live in a world where even living breathing animals are disposable.

SThanks for bringing attention to a problem that everyone needs to be aware of, please spay or neuter your pet if you don't then you are part of this problem. Everyone who owns an animal needs to be responsible there are too many unwanted animals now. I understand that some shelters have to euthanize but it is so sad,this should never have to happen but it's better than those disgusting gas boxes some shelters use. Save an animal from death adopt from your shelters.

When i see videos like this it reminds me of something that i witnessed and i made a video and just got reminded now from seeing this, me and my friends we playing outside when i was about 10 and an orange cat was a victim of a hit and run i saw the entire thing, so we called the emerancy humane society and this is what they said to my friends mom on the phone "we can't come and get it because we have to many cats already" i couldn't believe it! and my dad wouldn't do anything. HOw cruel is that

I work in a humane society and people want to euntihinize their cats and dogs JUST because they shed on the funiture!! and even worse, they have to kill them because the people paid for it!!! and on time a guy came in there who was giving up his dog and didnt know he had to pay to take care of the dog and yelled to the dog "I SHOULD OF JUST TAKIN YOU OUT IN THE FEILD AND SHOOT YOU!" and after he left another guy who was there was like "he's a jackass"

personaly, I think mixed breeds are usualy cuter than purebred dogs... I'm saying usualy because I got my dog for my b-day, and he's purebred. Great video! I've always been against animal testing. In school i did a whole project about it.

This is so sad... I'm seriously about to cry. Just looking at their sad faces makes me want to just all take them home and give them the love they deserve. I remember when I went into the shelter, Judge was crying... When we took him home, he was so relieved to be out of there, he was jumping on us, licking our faces, being the dog he wanted to be...

Amen. I volunteer at the local shelter and it kills me everytime we lose an animal because people won't find it in their hearts to take home a homeless pet instead of buying the "cute" and more expensive pet store pets. This animals need a home too..

I saved a kitty few months ago from the street, so skinny, with eye ear and nose infection.I took her to the vet and end up spending $1000 on her meds and vaccines.I wasn't sorry for a second.The doctor thanked me for keeping her instead of just dropping her at a shelter so even worst, leaving her on the street.Maybe it'll be easier going one of the Pet-stores and get a kitty, but I guess everyone can do that.She is the most spoiled cat California, no joke:)
