  • laurie looks like the agent from matrix

  • The thing is that....I actually sound like that guy did before he (fake) exploded. Hehe.

  • OMG It's Lady FLorence Cray from Jeeves and Wooster!! >:DD

  • 1:25 - 1:34: the expression on Hugh Laurie's face is priceless!

  • This is crude and disgusting - I love it!

  • YUCK - this is just plain disgusting - who has such a sick sense of humor

  • @SimsMoyal Me

  • 1:54

I could watch Stephen laugh like that for hours! hahaha

  • Which IS nice xD

  • hugh looks a little like lee evens with his ears sticking out like that =D hehe

  • My goodness how amazingly glorious is that blooper.

  • Hugh is only slightly perturbed by the blood and gore. A true testimony to his British-ness.

  • Well I think it's safe to say that I did not expect the blood... =)

  • Laurie wearing that silly bandage all the time would automatically increase the hilarity of any sketch where they play "themselves" quite significantly.

I'm not saying that those sketches are less funny than other sketches, it's just that simply thinking of those ears and the bit of hair sticking out at the top actually makes me actually grin very widely indeed.

  • That is so fucking hilarioous and I have no idea why.

  • I understand there was an happy ending to the story, newsreader was rush to hospital and was found dead on arrival, which is nice.

  • Stephen pulled up the guest for saying "actually" twice in the same sentence at the start of the clip, and then deliberately did the same thing at then end! Fry and Laurie must be reunited as soon as possible.

  • I wish they hadn't made that 4th series with the guests, it was pretty awful compared to the previous series's. Still can't help laughing at this sketch though.

  • The sad thing is my actual laughter was louder than their fake laughter!

  • OMG! I so didn't expect the blood!!

I was literally off my seat crying with laughter!!

    Brilliant!!

  • fry and laurie were brill.

its about time there sketch shows were repeated dont ya think?

  • ah!!! stephens glance at 0:54!!!

  • Hugh laurie has come a long way since this show reinventing himself in the excellent TV series "House" He has also grown older very gracefully and actually looks better now then he did then. superficial I know but he did look gawky when he was younger whereas now he looks a nice looking bloke. He also does a great american accent as well as being a bloody good actor. Stephen fry..well fry is also turning into a TV legend

  • hilarious!!!

  • Lmfao, gross!! lol

  • I have to agree with Fiona, that was indeed blissful!

  • Stephen at 0:55!

  • LOL they're really awesome!!!

the blood hitting him in the face is kinda gross XD

  • haha! When he coughed up blood I was practically crying, i was laughing so hard

  • Please can we have Fry and Laurie back on in 2009? I'd love to see them working together again. Much as I'm addicted to House, Blackadder and certainly Fry and Laurie showed this magical chemistry between them.

  • Standing there naked in front of the mirror with a radish and a whole world of possibilities...XD

Oh my god I can't breeeeeaaaaaaathe!!! ROFLROFLROFL

  • I'm convinced that I busted a gut around 1:42 or so.

If I never use this phrase again, I did NOT see that coming.

  • This is just amazingly funny. Two of the best comedic writers ever there!

  • Look at hugh's face when the blood hits him... he looks appalled! LOL gross.

  • I cannot stop watching this lol

  • the raddish and the whole world of possibilities.

    lol.

  • ROFL! XD that was so funny!

  • I split my sides whenever I see this sketch. Stephen Fry laughing at the end just kills me.

  • Lol yeah, that was my favorite part. Very Eric Wareheim.

  • Actually, this is actually ver funny... especially, when fry actually coughed out his lungs.... actually... particularly... the heck! I'm German! Gimme a break! Potzblitz.

  • A tiny wierd, but its sorta funny

  • OMG, he literally coughed up a lung! LOL

  • I gotta say that I really dont think the guests particularly broke the flow of Stephen and Hughs dazzling comic museings, or particularly added to them in any amazing way. They just seem to be along for the ride, like we all are. They are mostly just their mates who come on anyway, like John Bird or Imelda Staunton...

  • funny :) but how old are these shows they make no sense at all but funny though

  • yea, i don't really like the guests

  • They really took the mick out of chat shows in this series. Some of the guests were good - but only fry and laurie can 'pull it off' ;-)

  • Who is the guest star?

  • Her name is Fiona Gillies.

  • series four was pretty awful...

  • I know a lot of people think so, but some of my favorite sketches were in series 4!

  • I just don't think the whole 'celebrity guest' thing was a very good idea. It just seems like it broke up the dynamic and fluidity.

  • I could agree on that ... the celebrity guests didn't add much in my opinion. And I know Hugh & Stephen have commented that it wasn't their idea to add guests, so I don't think they were entirely happy about it either. Still, they managed to do some hilarious stuff anyway that season.

  • Indeed, series 4 contained alot of very funny sketches, but the giest stars did not add anything to the show. I did like Phylida Law (Emma Thompson's mother): she was actually quite funny (a.o. the courtroom scene and the talkshow with Luella de la Twig).

  • *wasn't

  • this is pretty much the worst episode due entirely to that shit woman

  • @BarryLeftHanded I havent seen it but Ive heard that it is..

  • @BarryLeftHanded Yeah I thought the guests part was just wasting time considering we only got four seasons :( I didn't really like the guests part.

  • isn't that the point...

  • I didn't think so. But of course I'm watching a clip and haven't seen the episode in its entirety, so I'm not certain if this was a running gag in the show. The clip is also titled "coughing fit" which allowed me a preconception of what I thought the clip would be about... but... whatever.

  • LMAO, their reactions were funnier than the actual "clip"
