I couldn't agree more! Ask a dietician where "to lose 1lb of fat you need to create a deficit of 3500 calories" comes from and they have no idea. I am a nutritionist (& obesity researcher) and I have researched extensively and found no evidence for this formula whatsoever - it is only ever proven NOT to work!
Ask them where "5 a day" comes from - no idea again! They just recite the slogans "No such thing as a bad food, only bad diets" i.e. sugar is fine. No wonder we have an obesity epidemic!

Well if this advice was given by a dietician to an immune compromised patient, then I don't understand why this dietician wasn't brought to court for attempted murder. It's easy to see why people are so obese in the US if this is the advice they get. But also people need to educate themselves on what is healthy and stop listening to "health advice" which is clearly influenced by big greedy corps. Also dieticians are obviously just telling people want they want to hear...you can eat shit food.

My wife is from there. A week ago one of there big news stories was "FREE VACCINES"! I know that a few them over there know, but I'm sure most don't. I had to give up schooling over stuff like this, I was told to support hormone treatment for women in monopose. Hormones from cows that is, to all women. They gave it up, 20 years later, and the cancer stats dropped 7% the first year. One pill was taking out 7% of the women population over a 20 year period.

I couldn't agree more! Ask a dietician where "to lose 1lb of fat you need to create a deficit of 3500 calories" comes from and they have no idea. I am a nutritionist (& obesity researcher) and I have researched extensively and found no evidence for this formula whatsoever - it is only ever proven NOT to work!
Ask them where "5 a day" comes from - no idea again! They just recite the slogans "No such thing as a bad food, only bad diets" i.e. sugar is fine. No wonder we have an obesity epidemic!

I wonder if there's not a clause in a hypocratic oath somewhere stating that a physician promises to divulge information on cures for disease or illnesses. If so that could be taken to the Supreme Court and fought to be included in a law that requires all Doctors and Pharmaceutical companies to divulge information pertaining to cures.

insane my mother lived 15 yrs HIV+ eating health and will daily exercise. She did not any any junk food or fried foods she ate fresh vegs and fruits. So sad to me on their diet my mom may have onlt lived a few yrs

Well if this advice was given by a dietician to an immune compromised patient, then I don't understand why this dietician wasn't brought to court for attempted murder. It's easy to see why people are so obese in the US if this is the advice they get. But also people need to educate themselves on what is healthy and stop listening to "health advice" which is clearly influenced by big greedy corps. Also dieticians are obviously just telling people want they want to hear...you can eat shit food.

This goes for the pet food industry as well - the mega corps fund "research" at the university levels so the newly minted docs will tell you there's no other option but the 'prescription' foods available (some pulled for melamine content over the past 2 years) It's true you have to follow the money...and it's horrible how easily the public is duped as well.

I use a chiropractor and he can not out right tell me about nutrition. So he puts flyers in his office so people MIGHT ask him questions. If the patient asks the questions then he can give the information. It was same with discussing immunizations for children. It is WRONG that this is like this.

i think that;s true. HIV patients have not monetary value, ( at least most of them, so this would quicken their doom. and I think they would offer you something better on the contrast if you with other chronic diseases, the will give you better drug to help you stay alive but never healed. If everyone realize they have control over consoumer pruducts things will change. it takes everyone of us to make the right choice. If someone does nothing but buy junk food they are giving money to the companys that will loby the goverment on thier behalf. The american people has let the goverments be controled by the companys all one has to do is not buy junk food products. If everyone did that and there would be less health problems and medicare spending will go down. when that happens.....
