Thanks for sharing this. It's great to see application like that. Nice skill, fluid and gentle as water, so strength has nothing to grasp. Finally seeing that principle in action is a pleasure.
very true its up to the person HE himself ,not the art . After all even if he loses its not the art that loses its he himself again dat loses. Hell i have seen tonnes of kung fu fighters lose, even tai chi ,this really proves that its not the art,no question asked, its the person using it that loses. No art is undefeatable even the so called legendary shaolin monks. After all we r all humans,we r fallable,we make mistakes
I found this channel by accident. Good thing, I like what you are doing. Many styles claim they are the best and do not learn from others. I trained in Tai Chi Chuan for a while, then left because of drama. Now I just focus on self defense and try hard to stay away from theory that excludes learning any other style. My current teacher is a veteran who has actually had to survive, I've learned a lot. Thanks.
@Bobbisky I'm a veteran and i teach tai chi lol go figure... the main principle of tai chi is yin and yang, and is all inclusive.... funny how some people take it as restricting you from learning any other style...
Hey guys, thanks for the comments :-) I have trained both arts and my personal preference is Taiji :-) But again, it is up to the artist, not the art it's self.. Many here in Japan like to see karate Vs Muay Thai etc.. I think it is a waste of time comparing it like that personally.. However, I can compare my experience and abilities developed in both arts.. Unfortunately in MY experience the wingchun had more business men & politicians than masters/genuine dedicated artists..
But again, I have seen Wingchun in Asia and in Australia/Europe.. All very different from 'Sifu' to 'Sifu'. That's all I can say really. Taiji has alot of politics and crap but its kinda easier to see the big fish next to the guppies ;-) Sometimes its the same as Kungfu circles, everyone talking about how big their masters balls are.. lol, it's a funny world we live in :-) Anyways, thanks for watching guys :-)
good vid ive seen a body guard like one of the big ones and they would not move at all if you would punch and when they give you a pat on the back we change it to the name FUCKING PUNCH in THE BACK GOD-DAMN!
This is a great video. Very interesting stuff in there.

Tai Chi owns Wing chun in sticky hands/push hands... . In my opinion....
I know they are two different animals, but when you put one against the other.. it just seems to come out infavor of the tai chi everytime..

"Tai Chi owns Wing chun in sticky hands/push hands... . In my opinion...."
Quite a statement, especially considering that this video had nothing to do with Wing Chun.
I wonder if Sifu Luke would agree with your statement?
Or maybe it simply boils down to who has the most skill at what they do?

tai chi and wing chun are both chinese combative arts and hence, are sharing a lot of principles etc.

Thank you :-)
Note- this is not an instructional vid.
If it was of course there would be close ups, a range of angles, clear audio etc.
Cheers
