Are the colors vivid and well harmonized/balanced? I mean no blueish nor yellowish nor any ish. I want to get this monitor, since my PHILIPS 234CL have a blueish or yellowish color tone, can't scape from that, and it looks washed out, plus the "clouding" effect and very poor black, AND, it's bright as heck, like the sun is in your face, very annoying. That LG has these problems? Can you have full color control? And the brightness? Black is good? By the way, nice review! Thanks for sharing!

@KernelScript I haven't noticed any color dysfunction. The colors are exactly like they should be. I don't think you can change the colors in the display itself but you can probably do it in your computer (I know it's possible on a Mac but I'm not sure with PC but I assume that you can do color correction and calibrations ext.)

hey man, nice review, i got 1 question tho before i would buy this screen....... The glass-looking stand that is attached to the screen, can it be taken off? i dont mean the bottom stand, i mean the transparent looking thingy that is attached to the screen. hope you can answer this! :)

@orkie55 No it can not be taken off, only the base can be removed. The glass thing is attached to the display but if you really wanted to remove it you could probably do so but I would not recommend it.
