Was this talk at an American Corner? But WOW! I can't believe how similar our stories are! My friends, too, thought I was going to Siberia but when then realized it was Serbia, they were afraid for me! And I also stayed for 2 weeks my first time; picked up in a Yugo, asked if I were a spy, and asked to stay with all my net friends. And when I got home, I felt the same way. The only difference is that I could not go back and do what I wanted to do as I had a family, house, cats and a job. KUDOS!
