  • The worst is Hong Kong is under communism.

  • It is better to be an SAR under "communism" than a colony based on segregation--two types of "British" passports.

At least Hong Kong people can live in the mainland. You don't want to, OK, but the choice is there. I do, when I retire.

  • If Hawaii were slowly being submerged (global warming), Hawaiians wouldnt be talking about losing their freedom. They can move to the US mainland!

If mainland China were so terrible in 1997, why didnt most people in HK move to the British Isles? The whole political issue of Hong Kong would have been irrelevant if the Brits had not practiced colonial segregation. The Western medium was mute about the political entity HK in 1997, an obvious result of British racism ongoing in 1997.

  • America imported slaves so the social outcome, remedial and progressive, is its significant Africanization; Britain forced opium into China by the barrel of a gun, why would Britain not accept its significant sinofication? Wouldnt it have been socially remedial and progressive as well for Britain to allow itself to be sinofied ?

  • HK should have been democratic because it is a part of Britain, as Hawaii is democratic as a part of the USA, not a colony to which democracy should have been introduced. Most in all media, so politically hyped, missed the sociological crux in 1997.

  • thank you for posting

  • The first half is the New York New York of Hong Kong.

The second is adapted from "the second Spring" by Pei Pei Dong. I love this song, special Chinese lyrics.

  • Old Hong Kong ,very good!!
