I agree in part, however moose cows can be extremely protective of their calves! Oh yes indeed! When little ones are near remember "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure"
thank you so much for posting!
♥loved seeing the precious wee one♥ with Mom too, of course : )
Wow! You got pretty close to the baby without ticking off the Cow...it's amazing that something as dangerous as a Moose (they kill more people in North America than bears do each year) can be such a wonderful mother...and the babies are just SO cute.
A Teton National Park ranger told me last week that the moose have figured out that people help keep them safe from predators. However, he also told me that more moose cause serious injuries to people than grizzly bears do, simply for the fact that they are more likely to be close to human populations and because they will get aggressive to protect their babies. So keep your distance when admiring.
Precious! Just precious! I hate all those videos of bad things happening to our moose... refreshing to see a joyful video. God bless you, and thanks for sharing this!
they are sooo cute! i live in homer, alaska and there is a moose that has had her babies in my front yard every year for the past 7 years. i've seen the actual birthing probably 4 times. the babies are just adorable! :)

the only reason a moose is dangerous is because of its size. They arent violent creatures. id rather meet a moose in the woods over a bear any day.
