@01vocaloidfan Well, megpoid is just the name of one Vocaloid. Gumi. UTAUs are freeeeeeeeeeee, and are created by many people, instead of corporations. Everything else is pitch-changed or fanmade. Basically. Go onto the Vocaloid Wikia to get everything cleared up. I have it on my bookmarks :)

Nana is a Vocaloid. xD She was made for Mac computers, because apparently Vocaloid doesn't work in Mac.

However, people who use a computer like Windows can import her voice into UTAU for use. :D

So she is a VOCALOID.

Just a cross-platform Vocaloid.

@takashitheswordsman Nana is NOT a Vocaloid. Neither is she an UTAUloid. Her voice is sold as a Reason plugin that can be used in an Apple program called Garageband. However, at the same time her samples are formatted in the .AIFF file format which in turn can be configured and used UTAU. Her voicebank is just like the Vocaloids in that both are commercial, but her voice will never be avaliable to use in the Vocaloid engine.

It's actually the other way around; Her voice was originally sold for Garageband, not Reason. She was made for Garageband so MAC users had a Vocaloid to use.

However, she just so happens to work on reason, which is a multi-platform engine.

UTAU has supported the .AIFF format since version 0.2.46, and YES it works with .FRQ files. ALL of the Macne's samples are in .AIFF, if you have EVER bought one of the Macne's or even thought to READ their website you would know. The REASON she even works on the MAC platform because of REASON4. =_=

I have Nana, so allow me to clear things up: She is NOT an UTAU, nor a Vocaloid. She is a Macloid, which, despite the name, is almost nothing LIKE UTAU or Vocaloid for Mac. She is just a Voicebank in .aiff files that are dragged and dropped into Garageband's tracks and pitch bent using the app itself.

@EvaneScence5675 From my understanding, she's made to be a plug in for Garage Band.a Mac program. Its another version of Vocaloid done by a different company. So since it doesn't use the Vocaloid engine itself, but still is a voice synthesis program, she's considered an UTAU to some. I believe some people do import her to the UTAU program as well for different affects. :U I'm sure you can read up on her on UTAU wiki, being that all of the MACloids have their own page there as well.

Macne Nana is not actually an UTAUloid. She was originally used for garageband on the Mac (Hence, MACne.) But by extracting something on the file, you can import her on Utau. x]
