Although the beginning is somewhat a big ? for me, I think it has to do with being all alone and feeling how little you are when you are heartbroken. The ending is really easy to get. The kid/him faces his fear and takes a jump off the deep end, sink or swim he needs to test himself. He survives and moves on.

well the first song i ever heard from them was "no cigar" (from tony hawks 2) which i loved...then i eventually found out who sang it (millencolin) and bought 2 of there albums- pennybridge pioneers and home from home. i loved them i thought they were awesome and millencolin quickly became my favourite band...i now have all of there albums, some we very hard to find (same old tunes, life on a plate) then i completed my collection not long ago with there DVD the hi-8 adventures...
