Correct me if I'm wrong. but isn't one of the major goals of being an actor to bring smiles to others' faces?

From my point of view Dan gave the families he toured with happy memories that their children will cherish for life. Sometimes it only takes one happy memory to change someone's life in a really positive way.

In that sense Dan, to me, is a very successful actor. I just wish he saw it that way.

If anything as a bonus he doesn't have to deal with TMZ, which is always a plus.

@VicMaxSim Well, as much as he is a successful "actor", he does the same show everyday, the same character, and he has to deal with horrible customers now and then. The point of being an actor is to be able to adapt to different roles and taking more then one character and making it their own, not to be the same personality, with the same jokes and lines every day. It's monotonous, and far too easy for an actor with ambition. It's about SELF fulfillment, not just how happy the customers are.
