  • what would be better.. one of these? or a gibson explorer?

  • @LYNCHIE1011 its just personal preference, I myself would rather a Edwards but that's just me

  • @5thhokage113 ok cheers.

  • @LYNCHIE1011 A few months late but I 2nd the Edwards

  • @WrathchiId haha im not even getting one of these now, instead im getting a schecter damien elite 6 haha :)

  • D'X i want one

  • @CiscoMcLovin

Where are you located? It's fairly easy to get one. People don't know this but you can order one from any ESP dealer in any country (well US maybe a problem). The dealers are not allowed to market these or mention that you can order, but if you walk in and ask them to order you one, you get it. I paid like 900 euros + 100e for a hard case...

  • @syndicated85 im in the U.S. D'X

  • @CiscoMcLovin

Well, that might be a problem because this guitar is a lawsuit model. It is 100% Gibson Explorer design except the knobs, which are in the same layout as the James Hetfield Explorer

  • @syndicated85 how can i get one?!?!?!?

  • @CiscoMcLovin Well. Ask your local ESP dealer, can they order it for you. If not, buy it from a japanese webshop like Ishibashi dot co dot jp

  • hey dude, is that model neck-heavy?

  • @velkann Well a bit yes, but i have a DiMarzio Joe Satriani fabric strap so the neck wont dive at all

  • Nice guitar and I think you play quite well bro.

  • do you recommending buying this in black or natural finish? or u dont recommend it at all?

  • @guruvag the same as mine "Nevada Stained Brown", the black is a bit odd

  • Hi dude, I need help, I use to have the ESP exactly the same james Hetfield plays, the black explorer, I sold it, now that I am trying to buy it again, are incredible overprice, I saw the edwards option, my question is, is the shape the exact copy? because my old ESP use to have a bigger body than a regular gibson explorer, which I love, can you give more info about it? thanks a lot.

  • @matabaldia

I think you refer to the Explorer PRO by Gibson, which is a bit smaller (10% i think) than the original Explorer. This Explorer is a lawsuit model, straight copy from the original Gibson Explorers on the bodyshape. The knobs and other are just as in the Hetfield ESP models.

  • @syndicated85 Thanks, so, the edwards body and neck are same size as the Hetfield ESP model?

  • @matabaldia Yep

  • @syndicated85 Thats very cool!!! thanks for the advice, I live very far from japan, so I wasn´t sure to buy it because It will be expensive to bring it here, and be disappointed

  • @syndicated85 correction: the edwards explorer models have a thinner rounded neck. while the old "hetfields" have more of a les paulish, really lawsuit neck. i know because i have one myself^^

  • how about the sustain of the guitar?

  • Where did you buy this mighty fine guitar?

  • @Ryanmetalmatthew

Well Dude, it is just lightweight Mahogany. It sounds killer, is awesome to play and the guitar is top noch in finish. There is nothing to whine about it. It does weight less than a Gibson, but the playability and quality is about the same, even better. The type of wood is just different

  • @Ryanmetalmatthew

I don't have the exact weight. It is light as hell... I've had many Lespauls before (Gibson, Tokai, Handmade, ESP) and it is even lighter than the ESP Eclipse CTM-I. One of the nicest guitars i've owned.

  • What do you think of the Blackouts? I have the same guitar but with EMGs. And an ESP MX. I was considering getting Blackouts to try them but not really sure if it would different enough from my EMGs. Nice work btw.

  • Jepaa :)

Mokomaa haudan takaa. On kyllä hyvä kitara soittaa, varsinkin tuo yksilö..
