@recniabsal Ya the boosted small imports are very light and with good power will trap high in the 1/4. Its hard to get great 60ft's out of the fwd ones and the fact they they run big turbos takes them a bit longer to spool up but once they do they fly. Not a import guy but i dont hate them either lol. At least these hondas didn't have some dumbass wings on them.

Yes I'm a fucking moron, let's race either of those "9 second Civics" 10 consecutive 1/4 mile laps against my Super Comp GTO and see who runs consistent 9's. I know for a fact my car will run consistently within a .001 of its self and highly doubt those turbo cars will come close. They are incredible cars and I know what it takes first hand to build them they are just terribly inconsistent once they reach that level.

Yes they may run 9's but out of 10 passes 9 of them will be 13 and slower because those care hardly ever run consistently and thus why I quit racing high hp imports and got back into domestics. Was very cool seeing them on Pass Time though.

Wow. So you're trying to inform me? I own a turbo ls integra and I know that these engies aren't d series. Just like the two men say "on is a b18c1 (GSR) and the other is an H22 from a prelude." To build a B18c1 would probably be just as, or possibly cheaper than building a d series engine anyway. If you are talking about how much the engines cost to buy initially then fine they cost a couple grand for a full b18c1 but that is still pretty cheap. I can tell you dont know hondas.

Not true at all. I would say 10 to twelve grand on the entire setup including all turbo components and all the work on the engine. I guess the slicks and suspension could add a few more gs total but that is not expensive when you're talking about a 10 sec car. Honda's do not coast much to build. I can break down why I think it only cost that much too if you really still don't agree.
