Yes she's very wrong by sitting down. In US, she will be arrested immediately. The cops will order you to stand up and move on. If you don't cooperate, the cops will arrest you and charge you with disobeying police order. Then the judge will decide on the case. For the immediate moment, safety of each protestant is the biggest concern. The NYPD doesn't care nore give a shit about why you are there. If someone gets hurt, they will get fired. Don't abuse democracy.
