  • I miss my mom's homemade chocolate whoopi pies, maybe i will be brave enough someday to try to make them myself.

  • Could u use Half n half or Heavy cream instead? Its hard to find buttermilk here..Thnx-Angie

  • @nkr1695 No you can't because the buttermilk mixes with the baking soda to make them rise. But you can make your own buttermilk in about 5 minutes! Go to our YouTube channel and watch "Cindy's VFFs 6-21-11." On that vlog I show everyone how to make buttermilk that they can use in my recipes. It's super easy. -Cindy

  • do you need to sift the dry ingredients?

  • @pixiefishmusic You can if you'd like, but I find that just whisking the dry ingredients together works fine! Much easier and no sifter to then keep clean :) -Cindy

  • where is dutch processed inside a grocery store? also, where id you get the container for it? Thanks!

  • @SilverLuvIncx You can find the cocoa powder in the baking asile and the containers I use come from Ace Mart Restaurant Supply. You can find them online. -Cindy

  • Do i have to use baking soda ? i unfortunately done have any at the moment ..

  • @YourColorfulZebra235 In this recipe, the baking soda is working with the buttermilk to make the cakes rise. It would be best to wait on these until you can get some baking soda :) - Cindy
