If your truck is in km/h then I'm going to guess that the reading it is giving you is km per liter... which magically turns out to be 32 mpg! Wow! Isn't math fun!
Where did you purchase the truck? I ask because I see km/h rather than mi/h. The US uses EPA Standardized testing which states 21 mpg for this truck. Also, cold weather and winter fuel will lower your mpg. I get better than what it is rated for.
You guys are all idiots. In the video he clearly said 100 KM/H which is about 60 miles an hour...ALSO THE SPEEDO GOES TO 200. Km/h look before you all start talking
@eman461 Haha, I think a lot of people here failed to realize that he's doing 100. I don't know of a single engine that gets good mpg while going that fast.
hentree56 is right about your tires. I have a 2011 f150 ecoboost and when it's cold out, like winter time, you don't get the same mileage as you do in the summertime. That would be the same with any vehicle. Also my sticker said 21 hwy not 31. Besides all that you have a warranty don't you. Take it in and have Ford check it out.
By further analyzing your video your truck has 3/4 of a tank and your miles to Empty is 162. Either your driving your truck very hard and it has learned by the way you drive it or there is something else seriously wrong with it, I would take it in to get looked at. At 3/4 of a tank mine read 330-350 miles to Empty.
Dang that is what I get in city driving including the 10 mins that I allow for my truck to sit idle to warm up and the extra 30 mins I'm sitting idle in front of my job before I go in. I get about 21-26 mpg on the highway
How many miles are on the truck? That makes a big difference, it will get MUCH better MPG once the engine is broken in. Have you calculated your fuel economy hy hand? You cant count on the in-dash instant readout. How often are you really filling up?
I have never seen it actually advertised as 31 mpg but I leased one for a month to see what the fus was about and the best I could do was 28 mpg at 55 mpg which seemed to be the engines sweet spot
Turbos don't like the cold that much! What was the temperature? If you're using km/h then I'm guessing Canada and guessing cold

@boblarson22 Correct, also the winter fuel blend itself is not good for mileage.

see that bright little yellow light by your speedo, puts some fucking air in your tires they are low, and its 22 mpg advertised not 31
hentree56 3 weeks ago
The 31mpg claim isn't for the F-150 Ecoboost. Maybe for their other CARS running the Ecoboost, but not the F-150.

You have to stay out of the turbo's and it depends if its a 4x4 and what gears you have. With a 4x4 and 3.55 gears you can get 21 highway. Easy
MrDevenolson 1 month ago
Well the gay ass tire light is on, maybe you can squeeze a few more MPG's out of her with the proper amount of air in the tires.
