    man, you're looking at an engine with twice the displacement of the average Honda 4 cyl, and an engine that also has v-tec, can handle high rpm's and can be built to be a much better performer. that v6 can probably withstand more power than any Honda 4 banger.

    don't get me wrong though, their 2 liter k20 is a menace and is off the charts when Frankenstein'ed with the 2.4 block, but that v6 is just very very capable.

  • thats pretty kick ass, especially since you can go out buy an eg for a couple grand in decent cond. buy a v6 swap and all the goodies and still come in under 7k. what i wanna know though, can you let it sit outside with the hole in the hood? and yes i know you can buy hoods with vents, but those generally get garaged, i wanna swap a v6 into my EK but im just worried about weather damage.. or kids pulling the spark plugs and putting water in em

  • @repeatRE The cutout only shows the valve cover and TB really. I would still say get a cover for it for winter/storms. Dont worry about the kids, worse they can do is draw on the valve cover.

  • umm all that work and a 13.4? idk just seems a little to much for me. I'll just stick with my stang. Not a h8ter but idk time/results ratio.

  • its running a stock ecu!!!cant you guys read? thats pretty fast for a v6/ mustang gt(v8)with a supercharger dont run that fast I KNOW cause iv raceed against one and he only runs 13.6 WELL DONE TTM

  • This engine Trans combo put down 200hp and 200ft lb of torque at the wheels. Stock ECU

  • You'd think with the torque of that V6 and 250-270 hp you'd get into the 12s atleast. What happened at the launch?

  • hahaah, they do but it looks like a VERY bad launch and a missed shift. People dont see the poeple in V6 swaps, but they forget about the 70+tourqe gain from the extra 2 cylinders. Some guys was arguing that only 30whp was gained from a highly tuned 4cyl and a j32a2 v6. He probably fogot that the torque of the 4 cyl is 150. but this has over 230 easy! v6's rule!

  • i meant the difference between them is 30whp! v6 has more ;)

  • J32's sit more around 210-220. J35's can give you around the 250 range with a good tune.
